Brewing history and process

Hi Cobra. Thanks for creating the

Brewing history and process
article. It's always good to have someone willing to edit Wikipedia, and especially someone who is able to contribute to the beer articles. And it looks like you've done some great research, and put a lot of thought into what you have done. You have the potential to be a very good Wikipedia editor!

There has, however, been concerns raised that the article you created duplicates material we already have on Wikipedia. The history section of your article, for example, is covered by History of beer. History of beer does, however, need some work - I keep meaning to get around to it, but find my attention is often pulled elsewhere! You involvement in that would be greatly appreciated!

The Types of Beer section is covered, first of all in Beer#Varieties, and then by the various articles springing off that, such as Beer style, Ale, Lager and Pale lager.

Major Ingredients in Brewing is covered initially in

Brewer's yeast
, etc.

The Brewing Process is covered by Beer#Brewing, and Brewing, etc.

I'll take a look at the material you have got, and see what can be merged into the existing articles. The title is a potential search term, and so when the material has been appropriately merged, I suggest we redirect the title to Brewing.

Please feel free to get back to me with any questions you have. Regards SilkTork *YES! 20:40, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
