I understand the article is a mess; I am working as fast as I can to fix it (including hopefully getting a few more references in there), though I do need help with organizing the categories. If this deletion nomination is to do with the article's notability, let me present why I believe this is important enough for inclusion;
While there were thankfully no fatalities, fifteen injured is a significant number for any event, especially since several of those injured were police officers and children.
A prominent native American politician, Jonathan Nez, was also in attendance to this tragedy and narrowly avoided being hit. He has since made a few statements about said event, and will likely go on to make more statements on it when addressing crime in his 2022 reelection bid.
A few national news outlets have reported on this event, adding weight and impact to its happening.
This event took place during a native American celebration, and has affected dozens of native American individuals. While it appears to have been in no way a hate crime, the vast majority of those affected are native American. Native American issues and events seem (to me) to fall victim to underrepresentation on Wikipedia. DMartin24 (talk) 20:05, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
None of your explanation convinces me that this is a notable incident. As I said, unfortunately these incidents are becoming more common these days and certain crimes in the 21st century have become more widely occurring, such as mass-gathering attacks of some sort. You need to put your rationale on the AfD page though. I think it's
WP:TOOSOON at best, but this is why we have community discussion. Bungle (talkcontribs) 20:09, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply

Sorry for the stupid question, but what is the AfD page? DMartin24 (talk) 20:23, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The link is in the auto message sent above: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2022 New Mexico parade ramming. The opportunity to discuss the viability of the article is there. Bungle (talkcontribs) 20:32, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
