Good sources, nice plan.

Sentences are well written, my only recommendation would be to maybe restructure a little:

PMP22 is a 22 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein made up of 160 amino acids. It is glycosylated in the endoplasmic reticulum, where it is also co-localized with the BiP chaperone. Schwann cells in the peripheral nervous system show high expression of PMP22, where it can constitute 2-5% of total protien content in compact myelin.

This makes it a little clearer that the focus of the article is PMP22, rather than Schwann cells etc.
