The problem is, until my research there has been so little written on seymour that a lot of the information has been researched by me. Sadly I have not had a book deal yet! --danielhuckfield

I sympathize with your situation. It is covered in the strong guideline called

WP:OR

- Original research. It's a good read, and hopefully explains why your article may not be releaseable even if you get a book deal. I'm of the firm belief that Seymour was probably written about and reviewed in indices and other lit or polit journals - you will ultimately find those sources!

Your situation is not dire. If Seymour's notability can't yet be established with independent sources to justify a standalone article, he can certainly be included in a list. Find a list about other authors in or near his genre, and add him (and your sources so far) to that list.

I wasn't sure whether to call the article Henry Seymour (secularist) or Henry Seymour (anarchist). In any case, I've listed him on the Henry Seymour disambiguation page. Hope the name is satisfactory. Sionk (talk) 17:58, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you have access to Seymour's Sound book (since you got the photo from it), who was the publisher? never mind, found it. And can you add a page # to the James ref? --Lexein (talk) 07:20, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Google Scholar lists 4 books as citing Seymour's Sound book. This lends credence to his authority on the subject. This is one of them:

• Allen Koenigsberg (1969). Edison cylinder records, 1889-1912: with an illustrated history of the phonograph. Stellar Productions, 1969

This related book oddly this seems not to list Seymour. Weird.

• H. Frank Andrews (January 1, 1986). The Edison phonograph: the British connection]. City of London Phonograph and Gramophone Society.
