Plunkett Town, Georgia

I nominated

Plunkett Town (Atlanta) I have multiple sources placing Plunkett Town at the I-75 Cleveland Avenue interchange. If you have sources that show Plunkett Town is actually where you indicated (i.e. 3 miles further south than where my sources say it was) you should save the article and provide sources. I do wonder if maybe Plunkett Town stretched all the way from Cleveland to Hapeville though... it's a few miles... Anyway, thanks! Keizers (talk) 01:07, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply

I haven't been on here in awhile and unfortunately missed the deletion of the Plunkett Town (Plunkytown) article. No where in your sources does it say that Plunkett Town was as far north as Cleveland Ave and the Gilbert cemetery. The area you are describing is actually Polar Rock. Plunkett Town (Plunkytown) was about a half-mile south of there. South of the tracks, across from the Post Office. The article you cited even restates this fact: "Plunkett Town is located adjacent to the airport and across the tracks from major industrial plants that conceivably could be a major source of employment for the hamlet, but provide few jobs for the residents." There are no train tracks near the 75/Cleveland Ave interchange. The old cemetery is there, but its connection to Plunkett Town(Plunkytown) is only because of its proximity. This article as it stands is incorrect on both counts.Deelzbub (talk) 14:46, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 30

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited East Point Historic Civic Block, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Russell High School, Sundance Channel and Places in Peril. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Notice

The article Colonial Hills Christian School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Very few potential sources that would demonstrate notability found. The only source in the article is the school website.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
