New to this, just learning how to reply to your message. As to the posts, these are legitimate, verified facts and belong in the Wiki. —The preceding ) 22:20, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
You have posted the same article under numerous different names. Please refrain from creating inappropriate pages. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox.
Also stop promoting yourself and your site by making inappropriate links in other articles. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. --ArmadilloFromHell 22:22, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
1. I added the misspelled links since the search engine cannot find articles misspelled or in different CasEs.
2. I am not promoting myself, I am stating historical facts about DJ Lynnwood. I am not DJ Lynnwood.
3. Do not make accusations about vandalism when they are unfounded. If you are a representative of Wikipedia your tone and style of conducting business should be more positive and respectful of other contributors. We are all willing to learn but we are not to be treated like children.
4. Please remove autobiography template per the template's policy. This is not an autobiography and all facts are verifiable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Djlynnwood (talk • contribs)
5. Relevance issues - please remove relavance template. This artist has sold hundreds and thousands of cd's (buy a Soundscan report). Also, is on the radio every week for the last 20++ years. It seems you are making your edits without researching the topic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Djlynnwood (talk • contribs)
- If you mean speedy deletions, I put them in, but others will decide if they get deleted. If you mean the articel DJ Lynnwood, I made no changes to it.
Please sign your posts - read
Apparently you misundertand Wikpedia - I am no more a representive of representative of Wikipedia than you are. --ArmadilloFromHell 22:44, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
OK i am getting it now. So who added the relevance, autobiography stuff to the article and how does it get verified and changed? Do you see these messages or do i have to leave them on YOUR talk page? Djlynnwood
- Not much point leaving them on my talk page, many different people have already looked at your contributions, and many more will also review them in the short while. Best to leave you comments on the article talk page. Roughly speaking there are three types of people, paid staff (relatively few), administrators who can do just about anything and the rest of us who have some limits about what we can do e.g. I cannot delete an article, but I can change it or suggest it be deleted. --ArmadilloFromHell 23:00, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
I have posted my thoughts on the DJ Lynnwood article on its talk page (Talk:DJ Lynnwood). Here are links to some of the applicable guidelines, for your reference:

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
