Allen Collins

Your edits to this article to the contrary, the Lynyrd Skynyrd founding guitarist's birth name is Larkin Allen Collins, Jr. He is referred to by this name in two different books about the band (Marley Brant's Freebirds: The Lynyrd Skynyrd Story and Gene Odom's Lynyrd Skynyrd: Remembering the Free Birds of Southern Rock). His headstone (see entry at www.findagrave.com) also shows his name as Larkin Allen Collins, Jr. Please do not edit this again. BassPlyr23 (talk) 00:15, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your uploads

Good day. I see that you have uploaded a number of images to Wikipedia. First off, thank you for your contributions. Unfortunately, there are some guidelines that we need to follow with copyrighted images. Specifically, you need to add a source for the image (a link to a website will do), a copyright tag (there are some listed at

help desk. If you do not fix these images, and you continue to make bad uploads, you will be blocked and your images will be deleted. Thanks for your contributions! STBotI (talk) 03:52, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see
