Thanks for uploading or contributing to

boilerplate fair use template
, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to

Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline
is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:44, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyrighted pictures with out Fair use rationale

dear Dr. Pizza
I take the liberty to asnwer the question you posted on BetaCommands user page. Your images has been tagged by a bot because they are tagged to be images with copyright. A bot does not have the ability to delete images from wikipedia, only an administrator does. The tags mean that your images wil go through a review by an administrator to see if there is Fair use explantion on the page.
This means you need to go the page and ad a fair use rationale to the pictures. Please do not remove the notice posted by the bot, the reviewing admin will do it.
Please see this picture Image:BizarreRideIIthePharcyde.jpg for an album cover with proper fair use rationale. You can besides the fair use rationale also add the following text.
This images was uploaded by Dr. Pizza (Talkpage), for questions about this image please go to my talk page.
I hope this answers your questiosn, and beware this reply is not endorsed by BetaCommand, or anybody else.
Best regards and happy edinting. Mads Angelbo Talk / Contribs 11:40, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dr. Pizza,

Regarding the commentary you left on my User page. It appears you have mis-interpreted my edit comment. At the time, I actually thought you were a member of the band (After re-reading your edit comment just now, I see that is not the case). So, my point was that everyone needs to follow the wikipedia guidelines about only including

encyclopedic content
- even if the subject of the article is the editor. By no means did I mean to suggest that you were a "nobody" as you stated.

If you reply, please do so on my talk page at User talk:Roswell native rather than my User page as you did previously, and please sign your comments. I am going to move your previous statement to my talk page as well.

Finally, please remember

assumed good faith in your edit; however, I did think it was non-encyclopedic and didn't belong in the article so I removed it. I meant no ill-will towards you and hope you continue to improve the band's article with the Wikipedia content guidelines in mind. Regards. --Roswell native (talk) 00:19, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply

Lawsuits?

At least one of my online associates has been victimized byt ED & has threatened legal action. These guys posted up nude photos of him & his art without his permission. They also say slanderous untrue things about web selebrities. There's no way this place hasn't been under a constant barage of legal action like Pirate Bay.

I waould also suggest replacing "satirical" with "Troll." These guys are just as bad as the lowlifes from 4Chan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.17.118.100 (talk) 23:25, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ED is ran by "Channers". It's the same crowed. In any case, we aren't going to use internet slang in describing a website. The website is accurately described as satirical. ---

Is getting banned infinitely from Encyclopedia Dramatica a part of your legal strategy? If anything, your ED vandalism has only made things worse. I recommend that you simply ignore them. Legal action will just cause more stress for you in the long run. --Michaeldsuarez (talk) 04:17, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to
Cinderella (sports)

I've just see your edit to

Cinderella (sports)
, I don't think the section on the LA Kings was removed because they weren't believed to be a "Cinderella" team. I think it was removed as part of a generally trimming of the article. The article only lists examples of "Cinderella" teams, given the somewhat subjective nature of what constitutes a "Cinderella" team an encyclopaedia can never hope to lists all "Cinderella" teams. There was an excessive number of teams listed, so a decision was made to cut the number of teams down to 1 or 2 teams, and remove the rest. The decision was taken to remove teams/paragraphs that did not have multiple independant sources citing the team as a "Cinderella" team. There's no an ongoing effort to stop new teams being added unless the references would support replacing an exist team. Rehnn83 Talk 10:11, 24 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
