Hello, good work on
]- I've added an external link to the band's page, that's where I've taken the most of information. Also from the video itself but it cannot be cited. Also long ago I used a Sami-English dictionary to translate the name of the song but I don't think I'll find it again on the web now. Don't I have a right to describe a video myself, why should I always cite somesone even for that? Is that someone have better eyes than me? Efenstor

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are
{{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. cohesion★talk 09:07, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

Tagging Latvia sections as pov
Hi, a while ago you tagged History and demographics sections as POV. Can you tell the reasons so that the sections can be actually improved? Because now without any reasons the only thing to do is to remove the templates. Renata 02:56, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
- Please read the corresponding discussion page, there are many people complaint about the non-encyclopedic approach of the article. I personally can notice many allegations and the ethnic situation statement somewhat reminiscent of Nazi agitation. The main part of the Demographics sub-article consists only of such agitations without any actual description of the demographics, only the numeral data given. The term minority used with Russians is also may be considered non-objective since they are as much as the 29% of the population. If you're a Latvian yourself please try to look at the situation neutrally as a foreign, try to use data from foreign non-politically-interested sources. The articles about the other baltic states (Estonia, Lithuania) which were under the Soviet occupation as well are written much more factually and neutrally, I can recommend to use them as templates. Image Tagging Image:Reptoid2.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Reptoid2.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Tempshill 19:51, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- The image appears on a variety of web-pages ([1], [2], [3]) and nowhere it is stated whether it is copyrighted or not, thus I think it may be considered "fair use" at least for the use in the article on the topic. Efenstor 20:29, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Shaman (band)
Hi. As part of the Wikipedia:Disambiguation pages with links project, I have been making links to the Trance disambiguation page point to the relevant article.
I noticed that you have made most of the contributions to the Shaman (band) article and wondered if you could help me. At present, the article claims that the band's music has an "entrancing atmosphere" with a link to the trance page. Is their music used to induce an altered state of consciousness? If so, then perhaps the sentence could be rewritten to make this more clear and the link moved to point to that article. Otherwise, the link should probably be removed.
I look forward to your input on this matter.
Thanks, --Matthew Auger 22:44, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- I have removed the link. Though the band's music is actually able to entrance, I just wanted to give readers a hint on what trance is and what it's felt like. Efenstor 07:28, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your prompt reply and action. I feel that it is far better for music "to carry away with delight, wonder, or rapture" that it is for it "to put into a trance". And it was a pleasant surprise to find a music page with a "trance" link that shouldn't be piped to "trance music". --Matthew Auger 08:41, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

- I've put the "disputed" tag. I've already broken my head with all that copyright stuff, maybe someone more competent can manage that? Efenstor 16:57, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
