Speedy deletion nomination of Pyroboom LLC

Hello Eph516,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Pyroboom LLC for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Ishdarian 00:11, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Pyroboom LLC, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See
    Wikipedia:FAQ/Business
    for more information.
  • It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See
section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable
    .

Reply to your question

I don't have any problem with Pyroboom, a company I'd never heard of until 20 minutes ago. The issue however is that to have a page on Wikipedia, companies must meet

the general notability guideline, that is, coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject. That doesn't seem to apply in this case. Valenciano (talk) 16:15, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply

Please stop removing

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you remove a

speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to Pyroboom LLC. Krenair (talkcontribs) 16:18, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Kentucky Heaven, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It appears to be a test page. (See
    welcome page
if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
  • It appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted, or is eligible for deletion itself. (See
section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music

The article Duct tape wallets has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not the place for a how-to article

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on

section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox
for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
