Woah, thanks for the friendly welcome, I hope you're not a bot because that really made me feel appreciated. Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to check it out! ExoField (talk) 16:57, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

January 2024

Information icon Hello, I'm Viewmont Viking. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of an article. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. VVikingTalkEdits 14:54, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry I don't know how to message you on your talk page so I'll just send it here. You not only removed the external links but also removed THE ENTIRE LIST OF HOSPITALS ALONG WITH THE LINKS, I'm sorry but I'm just wondering how on earth you become a Wikipedia admin. ExoField (talk) 15:16, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not a Wikipedia admin - and if you want to add the hospitals back without the external links feel free to do so.--VVikingTalkEdits 15:19, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why didn't you add it back yourself? If you can bother with removing useful links that are meant to guide people why couldn't you do something simple as this? And it says on the guidelines to use common sense sometimes to override certain rules. The reason I linked external links in the body was because these hospitals don't have a wiki page, so I linked their official website. ExoField (talk) 15:22, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What you should have done is remove the links, not the entire list of hospitals. I know you're just doing your job or whatever, but you're only making it hard for other people ExoField (talk) 15:19, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And you are just making it harder by adding in spam references. We or at least I am a volunteer here, I do not get paid to edit, and I'm not going to spend my time doing what other's think I should do, especially new editors who by their own admission "The reason I linked external links in the body was because these hospitals don't have a wiki page, so I linked their official website." don't know the processes of wikipedia. Really what should happen is all hospitals that do not currently have an article should be removed from the list, unless you can guarantee it is all inclusive.--VVikingTalkEdits 15:27, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Spam references? Excuse me? They're links to *official websites* and there are thousands of wiki pages with links like these. You decided to come and remove the most useful information. Imagine someone is in an emergency and wants to look up hospitals in their area and this wiki page shows up. Thanks for your contribution and guidance ExoField (talk) 15:33, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, as you did at List of hospitals in Pakistan, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. JeffUK 15:35, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Fine, sorry, lost my cool there. ExoField (talk) 15:43, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, King Edward Medical University, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 07:15, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, thanks. ExoField (talk) 07:25, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

hey

I noticed you have been editing some health-related articles, and I wanted to say that a bunch of us hang out at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine. You're welcome to join us. It's also a good place to ask questions about finding good sources for medical content or writing style. There are also groups like Wikipedia:WikiProject Hospitals, if that sounds like a better match, but I think it's a very small group. Feel free to put any groups you're interested on your watchlist, or stop by to say hello some time.

P.S. It sounds like you might want to read about how to create a

Wikipedia:Separate, stand-alone article. WhatamIdoing (talk) 18:22, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply

Ohhh, thank you so much for reaching out, I'll be sure to check all of this out! ExoField (talk) 21:35, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
