"What will happen next, we have the clues."

Wow, a non-Bloc Party lyric? What's that about? You can tell me if you are feeling unwell. Personally I don't like the change. --SteelersFanUK06 HereWeGo2010! 23:39, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Didn't realise it was "Elvis", in which case I welcome the change. I've been playing various tracks from their second effort out on my radio show. But I am quite particularly worried that BP may not be a band anymore. Considering they're one of the reasons I began listening to music (I'm still quite new to that game), its a horrible thought. Ended up listening to
this gem earlier on (I'm pretty sure I ended up there because of your userpage), realised it's going to be difficult without them.
But yeah, T amongst others, I'm a bit of a festival whore this summer. Got tickets to the Rage Factor, was at RockNess the next week, and now the next one's T. I've been putting a lot of effort into making this year's article looking pretty good, got it on DYK which was a real highlight! Turns out others like it too, according to the tools it's got more page views than any other I've submitted.
Towards the end of the summer I've got Reading and I'm debating the idea of working at Camp Bestival (opinions of that last one are welcomed!) Got any lined up yourself?? --SteelersFanUK06 HereWeGo2010!

Bloc Party actually said in an interview (somewhere, I've tried and failed many times to locate it again) that each album has been helmed by one member of the band in particular, and that the first three were done by Gordon, Russel and Matt - leaving Kele to take the forever lost fourth effort. If it ever does see the light of day, I always took from that statement that it would sound like "Flux", and i don't know a single BP fan who doesn't love Flux. Hopefully that spells something good for the future! It's quite interesting how their somewhat erratic direction-changing is really polarising fans - one of my closest friends, a rather large BP fan - said that his theory for the hiatus was "..the band must have finally sat down and listened to Intimacy and just thought, "what is this crap?"" haha. Not sure if I agree with him on that one.
And here was me thinking you were English (or more so, based in England)! Wow, didn't realise there were any real significant/experienced Scottish(-based) Wikipedians, it's good to have you around. what was that first gig, may I ask? --SteelersFanUK06 HereWeGo2010! 02:24, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
Wait wait wait wait wait. Franz Editors and the '90s? Was it in our very own
SECC by any chance? --SteelersFanUK06 HereWeGo2010!

Yo sorry I haven't spoke in a while, got buried under DYKs. Yeah I am one of the many great Scots, based in Glasgow :D the reason I asked was I was at the same tour, Franz Editors and the 90s, playing at the SECC. It was like my fourth ever gig I think, can't remember, it's up on my wall in my old bedroom. Good times! Okay, so, what albums do you think are looking good for this year then? Thought I'd ask, I saw a conversation up on here mentioning Hidden and Odd Blood a while ago so I thought I would get your views. --SteelersFanUK06 HereWeGo2010! 00:57, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Was waiting for The Boxer to come up haha! Yeah i got it last week, I've been listening to it a lot. Really surprised / impressed by how good it is. Was just saying he's probably in my Top 5 bands to see at T in the Park, I'm thinking I'll probably miss a bit of Kasabian for him! What you thinking? --SteelersFanUK06 HereWeGo2010! 14:54, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 July newsletter

We are half-way through our penultimate round, and nothing is yet certain. Pool A, currently led by

WikiCup talk page
.

Planning has begun for the 2011 WikiCup, with open discussions concerning scoring and flags for next year's competition. Contributions to those discussions would be appreciated, especially concerning the flags, as next year's signups cannot begin until the flag issue has been resolved. Signups will hopefully open at some point in this round, with discussion about possible changing in the scoring/process opening some time afterwards.

Earlier this round, we said goodbye to
