Good morning Franklin. Is there a reason my edit for the 2020 US Senate Election in Louisiana was taken down? I was simply referencing the candidate (Bill Cassidy) was running for a second term, which I don't understand why that would need some kind of external source. Most other election pages don't include a source for that kind of basic knowledge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 8.46.76.76 (talk) 01:30, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
- I'll admit that unsourced information might not have been the best template to use. The main problem is that your edits accidentally messed up a table. After your edits, the tables showed Bill Cassidy's percentages in his opponents box. While your edit to the lead paragraph was acceptable, you also changed the text on adjacent citation. I do apologize for not being more specific and for using the wrong template, the sentence you added to the first paragraph is acceptable (though it should be put after that last citation) so feel free to add it back in. The only thing is that you should check that you're only editing what you intend to edit. This can be done by giving the article a quick once over by clicking "preview edit" before publishing. I hope that this is useful helpful to you, and I do sincerely apologize for using the wrong warning, feel free to erase my message from your talk page if you want to. The historical facts about St Lucia's murderers are well known...in the body of common knowledge. Esparcadia (talk) 20:07, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Esparcadia I doubt the circumstances of a 3rd century saint's death are common knowledge. As such, a citation should be added, it's bad enough that the original statement is uncited, there's no need to compound the problem. FranklinOfNull (talk) 20:09, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
Rollback granted
Hi FranklinOfNull. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 17:04, 5 April 2023 (UTC)

The sentence which I edited is far from neutral, as it presents author's own personal opinion (not welcome on wikipedia!) and also half of the truth. I tried to make it more clear and understandable. Why do you revert positive change to a page about religious person? Is it forbidden to expand religious issues? I do not present my own private opinion, simply stating the basics of Christianity. I get an uncomfortable feeling that people who edit my changed are biased towards the religion. 91.189.141.116 (talk) 13:25, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
