I have restored the article at your request in order for improvements to be made. While you are of course correct in your assertion that being an army general will normally confer notability, the article failed to state that he was one.--

Thanks for contesting the deletion at Maysara Abu Hamdiya and leading to the article's revival. I hadn't mentioned he was a General, as I found no credible sources (there were a few Palestinian blogs with disputable POV), although I had mentioned he was a senior figure associated with the Palestinian Authority and had contested the deletion on grounds that more information would be forthcoming as he was associated with an ongoing event. -- FrancisPontifex(talk) 07:58, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
