Hello there, You removed my contribution to update the status of the BG coach No.80590. I had correct information and I do not see what is so "inappropriate" about updating its status. I have photographic evidence, as well as a number of visits to the MR-B, that 80590 is indeed used as the home of the TUGS Exhibition as that has been its job on the railway for the past six years. Does this sound any better that could be published? The Cheerleading Worlds is a very well-known competition where only some teams are invited to participate. It is a difficult competition for the entire all-star cheer season. In order to be eligible to participate at The Cheerleading Worlds, a team must obtain a bid from another competition. Different competitions around the US and the world offer these bids. Bids act like tickets into the competition, without a bid the team is not permitted to compete. Bids can be offered in many ways. It costs approximately $25,000 for a team to be able to go to The Cheerleading Worlds. These bids help pay for those costs. You can receive a “full paid bid”, where the bid pays the full cost of $25,000 for the team. It is very difficult to receive a full paid bid, so only the best of the best teams receive this bid. Another option for a bid is a “partial paid bid”, this is where about half of the fee is paid for. This bid is a lot easier to receive than the full paid bid. The last option for a bid is called an “at-large bid”, this is where about ¼ of the cost to enter is paid for it. This form of a bid is relatively easy to receive. After a team receives either a partial paid bid or an at-large bid, they can upgrade their bid if they are given the option to. That is if the team wins another bid at another competition before The Cheerleading Worlds occurs. Hello. I'm new to this, and apologize if I missed something. However, you quickly "reverted" some edits I made to the Woman's Exponent / Exponent II article, and I'd like to understand better what gives. My first edit was mostly about layout, I guess, and the other two added a few facts. I followed the WP:CITE link you kindly provided but that states that specific citation is required only for "any material challenged or likely to be challenged, and for all quotations," not for every single point. None of the information I added seems to meet the "likely to be challenged" test, and the layout changes are surely even less controversial. The official policy makes sense, as citing every fact, which is something no major encyclopedia does, would be impractical. Britannica, for example, might mention one or two sources for a whole article, and even academic papers don't footnote everything. You surely do not revert every contribution by us readers and occasional editors? I would be happy to seek out some sources, but I am sure you also have experts on the Wikipedia team who help with this, and at any rate this takes time, what with paywalls and closed libraries in these virus-ridden times. You understand, I hope, that just having everything I did between calls removed within minutes does not encourage further participation, and contributes to a reputation I've read about in newspapers for a somewhat closed or unwelcoming attitude? Ideally on Wikipedia, every single piece of information, no matter how small, should have a

WP:CITE doesn't say that only controversial pieces of information should be cited, but instead highlights that controversial information and quotes have to be cited, but others should also be cited as well. This is how we make sure information to Wikipedia is as close to the truth as we can get. I'm not accusing you of making stuff up; however, the problem lies with I can't be sure that you aren't making stuff either, which is why citing everything is important, even if "impractical". Because of the technical aspects of the anti-vandalism program I was using, I happened to revert your formatting changes as well, which I'll be happy to restore. I couldn't find any aspect of your edits that were just "layout". You might want to take a look at Help:Referencing for beginners before you add information back into the article. Why did you ignore that a draft existed for Yoasobi before making it? You could have moved the draft to the mainspace and expanded upon it. I noticed you worked on the page in your sandbox before making the article in mainspace, but when you went to create the page, you would have seen the notice that a draft existed for the page, created by another user (Swift68). Granted, the draft is nothing special, but building upon the work of other editors is the core of Wikipedia and you could have chosen to do this. (I have turned off pings. I will check for a reply.) I had finished my version in my sandbox at the time I noticed the draft existed. My reasoning at the time was that 1) the draft was basically a stub and didn’t have anything my version didn’t cover 2) Swift68 hasn’t worked on the draft in almost a week. I added a link to a list of companies/startups launched by Alumni/Faculty/Students from UIUC. It is crowdsourced and validated to ensure accuracy. The feedback is that it is not suited for an encyclopedia, which does not make sense to me since it is a validated list and has a mechanism to ensure accuracy.

I reviewed the guidelines provided for links and did not see anything on there that the link seemed to break.

In late February, Google added 5 new languages to Google Translate: Kinyarwanda, Odia (Oriya), Tatar, Turkmen and Uyghur. This expands our ability to find and evaluate sources in those languages.

WP:EL, inline externa links should not be added. Your link would actually be welcomed in a "External Links" section at the bottom of the page. As for the cartoon, if you have access to any Niles' Register paper and could provide a scan of it (like at Daily Worker or National Police Gazette), that would greatly help the article's quality. I can understand that you are one of the Americans ashamed of the hords of ignorant Californians that have taken the control of the streets and that, problably, will take the control of the government soon... But the reality is that they have vandalized the statue of Cervantes believing he is a fascist (3 centuries before fascism was invented!!), while the majority of Californias agree from their homes, ignore who Cervantes was and what is fascism or are terrified by demonstrators.

Changed the URL for her website to reflect the fact that her site was converted to a secure https site this month.
