Don't know if you'll ever return to check on this, but I thought the name Solanum might be a play on it's more accepeted use, Solanum tuberosa, the common potatoe. Potatoe/Couch potatoe/Vegetable/Zombie... It's a bit tenuous when you write it out, but I've heard potatoe and it's colloquialisms used to that effect a number of times. I was fairly and justly chastised for inserting it into

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
