Conrail Lehigh Line

I think you did a fantastic job when you expanded the

Conrail Lehigh Line article a few years ago. It could use a few text improvements - a lot of phrases are repeated verbatim several times in the article (such as the original line being considered new and NS owning the "original" corporate assets but not the road). Dovid (talk) 22:28, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply
]

Well I recently looked at an old Conrail Shared Assets employee timetable of the Conrail Lehigh Line and the timetable says "Lehigh Line", so maybe the Conrail Lehigh Line (which should be titled CSAO Lehigh Line) and the NS Lehigh Line are both the legally together and not legally two separate rail lines, this would follow the guidelines of the Fort Wayne Line. It is hard to tell if the CSAO Lehigh Line and the NS Lehigh Line are both legally two separate rail lines or together. So for now keep them separate. What should have happened is Conrail upgrades Port Reading Secondary and Chemical Coast, NS gets the whole entire Lehigh Line and CSX gets the Port Reading Secondary and Chemical Coast for access to Oak Island Yard. The Trenton Subdivision is CSX's secondary line into the NYC area so I don't think it's a problem for CSX to use the Port Reading Secondary and Chemical Coast for access into Oak Island Yard. Port Reading Secondary has been upgraded but another upgrade would be needed to make the Port Reading Secondary a top speed line. Chemical Coast needs and upgrade as well. Well my specialty is the NS Lehigh Line so if you want to make a few improvements to the CSAO Lehigh Line article than you can do that. Granthew (talk) 07:19, 6 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
