yes, i would object. Try a searching for "roger langley skiing" quotes not included in search terms just designating the search. He's an important figure in the history of skiing as a sport in the United States.
There needs to be a disambiguation page at least.

Visio and svg
When I first did the diagrams I attempted to upload as SVGs - however this compreshensively failed. The SVGs that visio produced seemed either unparsable (wouldn't display in firefox) - or the fonts would be screwed up quite badly (generic font, a different size in a different position). If you know of any config tweaks to visio that might resolve the problems - let me know and I'll give it a try. Thanks. Megapixie 08:40, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

Very nice work, the lines are quite clean and nice! However, graphically the image needs some adjustments. The transparency aspect does not seem appropriate for this image and I would suggest to raster it against a white background. Second, the lung area could use some work, the lungs are not defined enough and are very hard to see. Also, it may be better that the trachea overlaps that area rather than the opposite. One minor image discrepancy you have in your image was that you did not include the tunnel of the nasal passage as I had but it is not a big deal if it is not shown. Some areas look a bit too flat and could use some more shading but that's just my preference and not a big deal. All in all, I think it is still pretty safe to leave the image I have created on the Throat article but I would not mind at all if you would like to convert that same image into .svg as long as you give me credit as the original uploader :).¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 19:42, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- I love the clearness of the svg for sure! However, stylistically it still has issues. Nice job rastering it against a white background but a small part is clipped and still is transparent. The lung colors also seem to overlap each other rather than remaining inside the lines (all the components in that area such as the trachea, all seem to overlap). The label could also be diverted to the side for the lungs and use one of the black lines to point at them. I still think the first image should remain on Throat however, keep working on your raster and I'll give you my opinions :).¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 05:08, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- Looking much better! Unfortunately the image still got clipped again and you have the transparency problem on the bottom (for some reason the whole background does not seem to raster white). Also, the lungs should be completely filled in and a small portion of it is not. The image is definitely shaping up though and it might be an effective replacement for Throat in an .svg version if you address all the image concerns. Nice work ;). PS: I implemented some skiptotoctalk coding my own way.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 18:40, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Anarcho-Primitivism
I just deleted a section entitled, "Shadoran Primitivism" from the page, "Anarcho-Primitivism." It was reverted by you despite the fact that if you actually read the section in question, it was nothing more than a block paragraph of opinions by some user. It's now been deleted by another editor, too. Please don't revert my edits without actually verifying that I did something as a "test." -128.101.53.240 21:24, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Kept a Guy Locked In A Trunk
Why did you change my correction of "Ding Dong the witch is dead" to "...the snitch is dead". it wasn't vandalism and it wasn't a test. That's what the character Joy said in the show. It was a joke (you know, ha ha) because the guy was going to be a witness against her in a crime. Please don't revert people's edits if you don't actually know what you're talking about. 68.43.197.164 04:15, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Now three people have posts on your user page, Indolences, complaining about you reverting legitimate edits. Reverting is one thing, but putting that "your test was successful" template on my user page is, frankly, insulting. I don't know how you're screening edits, but the fact that three people have complained says something to me. My edit was so obviously legitimate that another user restored it within 24 hours. Please be more careful--this is more than a little annoying. -128.101.53.232 20:04, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Just a few things I would like to tell you
1. If you seriously wanted to know what was 'with' my username you stuffed any chance of finding out.
2. No. If a sign said "if you are 25 years, 3 months and 21 days old and live in Colchester please accept $200" and you were, would you take it? And I wouldn't worry about being flattered from someone nominating one of your images.
3. Thanks, although can't return your compliment as your photos all look dreadful

Lexus emblem
Greetings, I have a request for you and your SVG/Inkscape abilities. Is it possible for you to convert:
to a SVG with transparent background, then upload it as a new version of Lexus_emblem.svg?? If would be really great if you would do that. After some photoshop work, I have finished a version of the emblem which incorporates the usual silver color. Note: when making the background transparent, if you can avoid deleting the light-colored shadow effect at the lower edges of the logo/titles, that would be fantastic. Thanks for your attention and your help will be appreciated! Sincerely,
Have you received my message? Alternatively, if you can explain how to make the image background transparent in Inkscape (there is no equivalent to the magic wand or lasso tool as in Adobe, AFAIK), I would really appreciate it.
Got your message, thx for helping. I hope the transfer to SVG is not too difficult; I realize that the PNG has imperfections, particularly in the way the curves on the outer edges of the logo are rendered. Hopefully those issues won't be too big of a problem.
Hi again, just to let you know I have made some edits (too many LOL), if you have a chance to work on it, the latest one is preferred. Thanks again!
- Is it possible perhaps for you to detail what the steps are for converting the PNG to SVG in Inkscape? Maybe I could try it for myself. I have been trying to get other free programs to work, with limited success. Inkscape is the most functional but it doesn't have the lasso or magic wand tools which I use extensively in Photoshop. - Thx for the replies, I will look more tomorrow to see if there are flash materials/PDFs with the Lexus logo. I did originally base the logo on this flash introduction seen here: www.lexus.com/autoshow where the Circle-L logo is seen during the loading sequence, but I have no way to capture that other than by taking a screenshot. The thing is, the silver logo has to be adjusted to show up properly with a light-colored background, which is why the current Lexus site uses a hybrid silver/black logo. The logo I made is properly calibrated for the silver/gray appearance on the infobox background. I will continue looking tomorrow. Thanks for your help. Enigma3542002 09:51, 12 February 2007 (UTC)]

Good day to you again, I have worked on a logo in Inkscape and uploaded it to Wikipedia. I think there was a compatability issue as the SVG file does not render in thumbnail form, and for some reason despite being saved as Basic SVG, some elements are missing. The item shows up in full when opened with IE or Firefox however. And when I downloaded the SVG from the wikipedia page, and reopened it, the whole image is there. Would you please take a look and let me know if this can be adjusted to 'fit' wikipedia? Thanks.
Thanks again

GM
Nice work on
FYI, during the discussion the main point of contention will probably be whether GM is notable or not rather than whether it's sourced properly. (Sourcing is necessary for articles, but whether something should be an article in the first place is a matter of notability.) For info on that, Wikipedia:Notability in general and Wikipedia:Notability (web) specifically will help.
The links in the references could use titles and dates-retrieved to give the article a bit more polish before nominating it as the replacement for undeletion. The {{cite web}} template is useful for that.

- Yes, I see your point and agree that there are potentially hundreds of songs with deliberately misspelled titles. However I believe that the information on Slade is particularly notable for two reasons. First, all the songs listed reached Number 1 in the UK singles chart, and second there are several songs, not just one, and as it says in the Slade article, they were noted for their deliberate misspelling. Incidentally I do not consider myself a fan of the band, nor do I own any of their recordings. --Jameboy 12:06, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at
- Yes, since {{Kiribati-stub}} by definition would be for all stubs relating to Kiribati that aren't covered by other stub types - that is, it should only be used for non-geographical articles. Naming it that way and saying it's only for geopgraphical articles is a direct contradiction in terms, and against stub naming guidelines. Kiribati-stub should be just that, not a second Kiribati-geo-stub. Also, as few redirects as possible are used with stub sorting, since template redirects put added strain on Wikipedia's servers. div id?
Hi, I noticed your edit to the userbox I created. I have no problem - I'm just curious why you added the "id" tag, since I'm not familiar with how or where that attribute is used. Should userboxes in general contain id tags? I'm interested also because I would prefer userboxes I create in the future to be as complete as possible. What's up with the tag? Nihiltres(t.c.s) 16:48, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Aha, yes it would allow CSS to fiddle with it. That's fine, some users don't like userboxes, and it's convenient for anyone who wants to use a div id with it. Nihiltres(t.c.s) 16:56, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
