Thanks for uploading
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "

Midas...
See Midas' talkpage as to why the page has been changed. You can't just cut/paste information into the Wikipedia from other sources. It's also not in an appropriate style. Ignore the comments above - Midas have charted and are now notable. Basement Jaxx have a page and I believe they were beaten by Midas, so why not eh? Thanks. If you need anything, give me a shout... lol, don't look at me - I didn't put the bio infomation in Icecold 13:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- It's not perfect, but check the page now - the band's history is the next big section. I've given the points to find out about on the talk page. Alas, I think you'd need to talk to Kris and the gang about that, since I only really know Dave, who has only been in the circle since late '06. Don't forget to make reference to Ryan Edwards - funny lol. Worley-d 15:20, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Help
For some reason the edits i've made on Xtreme_Radio are only appearing when I log in, and not to other people or if I use IE7 (which I never use to login). What's going on?
- I can see three changes made by you, here. Are these the ones you are talking about, or where there others? Tiddly-Tom 22:52, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
Yep, if you clear your cache and go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xtreme_Radio my edits do not appear, if I use that link you provided with an empty cache it shows it, it seems some kind of caching issue somewhere. I'd blame my connection but a friend has checked from his home connection and his work connection with the same result. I don't quite understand it. Icecold (talk) 22:58, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- After clearing my cache it still works. I'm leaving the helpme up for input from another editor. Tiddly-Tom 23:20, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- I see them both ways. - Revolving Bugbear 23:21, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's still not working if I view it logged out, and i've tried another connection. Try using a browser you don't use for wikipedia or logging out and clearing cookies/cache and the edits disappear (well for me anyway) Icecold (talk) 23:28, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Just tried in IE and did not work until viewing the diffs then loading page content again! Very strange! By the way - good choices of favourite radio shows ;) Tiddly-Tom 23:36, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Haha thanks :) Is this some kind of bug in the wikipedia software or something? I wonder if it has something to do with me editing from an IP thats banned (i'm editing from the university network), shouldn't have an effect but I've never had this problem before... So perhaps it is having an effect? Icecold (talk) 23:38, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- I can view your edits in both IE 7 and Firefox, no problem. Strange... I'll remove the helpme, though, as this seems to be one of those bugs that only the Powers That Be would understand. Master of Puppets Call me MoP!☺ 23:47, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well i've reported it as a bug on the bug wiki so hopefully will be looked at. [1] Icecold (talk) 01:21, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use Image:Midas.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Midas.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

- Excuse me? I'm being hounded by one editor, while another editor refuses to answer my valid questions of their moderating and closes any attempt to get them to account for it, and I'M the one that is being accused of not treating people with respect? What a joke. Icecold (talk) 11:30, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- Ah. Well, if you're being harassed on wikipedia, you should file a complaint at WP:Administrators' noticeboard/incidents—charges of harassment are taken vber seriously I assure you. Where has te harassment taken place? User:GraziePrego has never edited this page. In other news, there is a certain irony to your complaint that GraziPrego "keeps popping up uninvited in my discussions with other editors on their talk pages" when you have twice done much the same on User talk:TarnishedPath. To be honest, I'd try and not attract so much attention across so many pages. Cheers, —Fortuna, imperatrix 12:05, 22 May 2025 (UTC)]
- > User:GraziePrego has never edited this page
- Never claimed they had. Just because they have never edited this page doesn't mean they're not hounding me though.
- > In other news, there is a certain irony to your complaint that GraziPrego "keeps popping up uninvited in my discussions with other editors on their talk pages" when you have twice done much the same on User talk:TarnishedPath.
- ?? No irony whatsoever because I created those discussions on User talk:TarnishedPath to talk to that user explictly. That's not what I'm accusing GraziPrego of doing, I'm accusing GraziPrego of inserting themselves into discussions I'm having with other editors on their pages despite not being tagged - clearly watching my edits and hounding me when I popup on wikipedia.
- > To be honest, I'd try and not attract so much attention across so many pages.
- So if an editor makes a moderating decision I don't agree with I'm not allowed to query it with them? I'm also not allowed to reach out to an editor that has a favourable view of my proposal to try and work on a consensus? Doesn't make any sense to me.
- >
- Thanks, I've given User:GraziePrego a final warning on this page, if they continue to hound me then I will, but I'd rather not have to start formallities against another editor to be honest. That's not why I joined Wikipedia almost 20 years ago to do. Icecold (talk) 12:32, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Linehan Discussion

I've been accused of all sorts by various editors, and I just wanted to get my side down, for 'historical reference' as others have made judgements on me.
I added my voice to an ongoing discussion on Talk:Graham Linehan, which then got shut down by User:HandThatFeeds. I discussed with said editor on User_Talk:HandThatFeeds but was quickly shut down and threatened with admin action if I continued to argue the points further.
In the meantime I spoke to User:Gazumpedheit not to 'fight' as has been said by User:GraziePrego on their page, but because we were both on the same side of the argument and I wanted to ask for advice, and also to inform them of my intent to start a new proposal to ask them to contribute. I then realised a day later that they had been banned, and while I make no comment on if the ban was jusfied or not, I made a comment about my shock that they weren't given a chance to make a defence of themselves. User:GraziePrego then turns up (despite not being tagged).
So I then created a new proposal on
That discusssion was again hijacked by
I then went onto User_Talk:GraziePrego to request that they leave me alone. They are clearly stalking me as they keep popping up in any editors talk page that I contribute to. They then accuse me of 'fighting across User talk:TarnishedPath, Talk:Graham Linehan, User talk:Gazumpedheit, User talk:HandThatFeeds' which is very much twisting the truth. I was contributing a proposal to Talk:Graham Linehan (not a fight), I challenged the decisions of User_Talk:HandThatFeeds and User_Talk:TarnishedPath true, but not to fight, and I went to User_Talk:Gazumpedheit to discuss the issue. The one common factor against all these though is User:GraziePrego turning up to respond to me, clearly going through my history or setting up a watch of my edits to jump in and attack me at every oppertunity, clearly breaking Wikipedia:Harassment policy on hounding. I could take this further, as a formal complaint, but if User:GraziePrego quits their behaviour now, I'll consider the matter closed.
