Conditions for your return

I can't help but wonder if I'm being too soft, but I'm a man of my word, so you can return under the conditions we agreed off-wiki. Just don't make a fool of me—I can survive with egg on my face but you would be doing yourself a disservice, and you would be breaking your word, which I hope is of value to you.

You are free to return, provided that you abide by the following conditions:

  1. Indefinite topic ban from LGBT-related articles
  2. Indefinite topic ban from abortion-related articles
  3. Any uninvolved admin in good standing may, after advising you of the problem and offering you an opportunity to remedy it, ban you from any article on social/political/religious issues at which they believe you are causing disruption or impose such restrictions (such as a 1RR) on your editing at that article as they deem to be necessary. You can ask for review of such sanctions from myself or any other independent admin and/or appeal to the Administrators' Noticeboard and/or Arbitration Committee.
  4. You may change your username, subject to the discretion of the bureaucrats, but you must preserve the redirect from the old account name, and, for at least one month after the rename, your talk page must note that you were previously known as NYyankees51.

Violations of the above will result in bocks of rapidly escalating duration; repeated violations will result in the reinstatement of the indefinite block. Once you have signified your agreement here, you are free to resume editing, though I advise caution. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 23:26, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about the edit summary - did not mean to say that you were the vandal just because you reinstated an older version. Both versions have some good stuff but the one that you have reinstated has some problematic sourcing as well as wording. Richiez (talk) 19:00, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I shouldn't have done a wholesale revert. iPad laziness. Instaurare (talk) 21:25, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
