COI re Andrew D. Huberman

I've noticed that all your contributions have been to a single article, that of

WP:COI for further details. AncientWalrus (talk) 16:38, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply

I think this needs to be clarified now. Also, are you operating multiple accounts? Bon courage (talk) 05:15, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your message and no. The only edits I have made were correcting information based on information contained in the cited press release. The existing citation is fine, but certain wording appears inaccurate based on the press release. Iopentron (talk) 05:24, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Press releases are poor sources, Wikipedia prefers
WP:SECONDARY sourcing. Bon courage (talk) 05:26, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply

Understood but that's what's being cited and your comments on my edits state "well-sourced." That is currently the only source. So, that's contradictory. Iopentron (talk) 05:27, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to make a change, please describe it at the article Talk page. To be clear, it is The Guardian which is the good source. Bon courage (talk) 05:28, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The only edit I was making was the title to Scientific Advisor which is contained in the title and body of the press release being cited. It's a fairly minor edit and doesn't materially change what currently exists. Iopentron (talk) 05:29, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That was NOT the only edit you were making, you were removing information about dietary supplements. Bon courage (talk) 05:31, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Based on what I see, it would appear fine to leave that as part of the company's description, but I do not see any branded supplements on their website. I also checked this for other Scientific Advisors and similarly do not see anything branded. The names of the supplements (e.g., Omega 3) are what's shown. Iopentron (talk) 05:32, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To repeat: it is well sourced. Original research is
prohibited by policy. The source refers to such products as the 'Huberman Lab Focus and Cognition Bundle' from Momentous. Bon courage (talk) 05:38, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply
]
I don't see a product with that name. It just says "Focus and Cognition Bundle" Iopentron (talk) 05:39, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That is your
WP:OR. They may be changing it; but Wikipedia is not a brochure nor a real-time commentary on the branding decisions of supplement companies. Follow the good sources, and if they report a change in future Wikipedia can follow. Bon courage (talk) 05:47, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a

false positive, you can report it to my operator
