JasarDaConqueror (talk) 13:27, 10 April 2010 (UTC) Hi, I split the Tna roster page into haevyweights and x-division. just askin but why was the roster split not nessecary. I thought it was better and more helpful to people reading. Its was more helpful to me. This is off the subject but do you have authority like an administrator or something. If I want to make and edit or something I can ask you so I don't waste time making an edit just to get it reverted.
JasarDaConqueror (talk) 14:14, 10 April 2010 (UTC) Yeah that makes sense. I was going to make a page called List of WWE Title Matches. I was planning on doing a page for each title. Basically it was the title says. For example Ken Anderson has never been a world champion but has been in many world title matches. I'v google it and I can't actually find a list of championship matches so I thought i'd make my own. I just wanted to ask, do you think it would be deleted or merged with the list of chamions. Because I don't wanna go through all the trouble then have it deleted.
JasarDaConqueror (talk) 15:44, 10 April 2010 (UTC) I'm up for making it. Do you know who has authority like an admin. I could take it up with him/her. Maybe I could have the name of the wwe champions page changed to List of WWE Champions and Defences. Then I could add all the defenses to the page instead of making another one.

in re this edit summary
Show me a MOS guideline that demands this, show me precident for this, in this form it makes no sense. "Stipulation TBA match?" that's not the match type. it should read "Intercontinental Championship match, match stipulation TBA" cause that's what's happening. In short, it needs to make sense, in the form you keep reverting to it doesn't and is liable to confuse readers. ]
Sandow elbow
Jeffhardyred, I understand the effort you've put in to check the google translate for Sandow's elbow. If you do listen to what Cole's called it -> youtube v=B2U6RWFqZg8 after 3:20 -> Cole clearly says "disdain" there. And if you check various reliable sources, they all apparently heard "disdain" as well. See PWTorch and Wrestleview. I think the problem here is that WWE themselves have made an error on the Latin translation for disdain. Elbow of disdain makes much more sense than distain. Distain -> "To tinge with a different color from the natural or proper one; to stain; to discolor" Perhaps when translating the English to the Latin, WWE screwed up and made a typo on disdain. Therefore the move should be called disdain, not distain. Starship.paint (talk) 09:31, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
Summerslam 2012
Don't flim-flam please. Reading the policy you know that while the source needn't be reliable it requires a reputation for attracting readers with reviews, which a two month old site with four articles and little following does not meet. Thanks. Papacha (talk) 20:09, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

"Ring names" for regular people.
I explained myself at Talk:List of WWE personnel. If you haven't addressed these concerns by tomorrow (or sooner, if you agree), this unnecessary duplication has to go. We can work on making the blanks look better, but we can't fill them just for the sake of having something. InedibleHulk (talk) 23:57, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
I'm not understanding your "Sean Waltman doesn't use this ring name anymore" logic. This list is full of guys who haven't wrestled or been on TV for years. So they don't use their ring names anymore, either, but we list them because that's what they're best known as. "X-Pac" was on

With this edit, you removed many secondary sources (like Wrestleview) from the background section and replaced them with primary sources (WWE.com), citing that they are "official". You also deleted a WebCite screenshot archive of a WWE.com page. Simply... may I ask why? Wikipedia policy clearly states that "Wikipedia articles should be based mainly on reliable secondary sources". For the background section, it chronicles past events, not future ones, and there are many readily available reliable secondary sources to be cited. I would understand if you want to use WWE.com to cite the scheduled future matches, but the background section is not about that. Only the matches section is about that. Also, the removal of the WebCite is definitely head-scratching. Please do follow up by reading and discussing on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Professional wrestling#Usage of primary sources (WWE.com) for PPVs. Starship.paint (talk) 18:43, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
December 2012
Hello, I'm Odie5533. I noticed that you made a change to an article, TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs (2012), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Odie5533 (talk) 15:09, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry for warning you the second time. I did not examine the change close enough and you did add sources to the article. Thank you for doing so. I removed the content originally because some of the previous content that was added and was similarly unsourced. I went through a lot of the previous content and added sources, but in doing so I realized some of it was original research which didn't coincide with the sources. Given that some the recent content was by the same editor, who is now blocked, and it did not have a source either, I was worried it might be original research as well and so I moved it to the talk page. Thank you again for finding sources for this information, and I apologize for mistakenly issuing the second warning. --Odie5533 (talk) 16:58, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
Jack Lanza
He started off as Jack Lanza, and even when he was called Blackjack Lanza, it was acknowledged that was a nickname, and that his first name was actually (but not actually) Jack. Like how Triple H's "real name" is Hunter, and The Rock's is Rocky. It's the more common ringname, so it's a good edit. But the summary was a bit off. Not scolding you or anything, just letting you know. InedibleHulk (talk) 22:22, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
