I have asked for the Time magazine image from Baghdad to be erased after speaking with Yon's attorney. Danny 18:15, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Follow up note - after speaking with Mr. Yon's attorney myself, I want to pass on that Mr. Yon emphatically has never relinquished his rights to this image, or given permission for its use in this fashion. It is certainly not in the public domain. Whatever the source of the alleged "permission" to use his copyrighted image, was in error, for your information.--BradPatrick 20:12, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{

Halebop

The article

because of the following concern:

Insufficient independent, third-party sources exist for the creation of a proper article. Due to lack of sources, it is difficult to establish notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
