Unspecified source for Image:ONET_Emblem.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:ONET_Emblem.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on

Hi. Per notes from other editors, please do not use Wikipedia as a private webspace or message board - for whatever organisation. Please consider reading What Wikipedia is not for guidelines on the type of content suited to Wikipedia. Alternatively I can help if you have specific concerns/questions about why your additions have been reverted. Guliolopez 14:26, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Three revert rule

Hi. Accepting that you are a new user (and therefore possibly not familiar with the rules/mores/etc), you need to be aware that continuing to include inappropriate detail in this fashion, without engaging in discussion, is not appropriate under several Wikipedia guidelines. Not least the

WP:3RR rule. Please take a breather, and read the comments above before re-submitting that snippet again. Guliolopez 14:33, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply

I have blocked you for 3 hours for your continuous pushing of promotional information, even after more users have notified you of this. Please start discussing your edits. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:42, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Your email.

Thank you for your email. First, I have unblocked your account, you may experience a block on your IP, please follow the instructions there, and an administrator will unblock the IP.

Your addition was reverted by several users, you were repeatedly adding a text which was very advertising in tone (e.g. "Each member receives a membership card that entitles that member to entry to the BrĂș na bhFiann members club and discounts on the facilities accommodation" sounds as if you want to attract people to become a member, which is, in my opinion, advertising), and contained an external link that should either be plain text, or an internal link. The page already contained that link in the external links sections, where I think it is in the right place. Last week I removed about 10 links to that site from this page. Please understand that wikipedia is

encyclopedia
(please click on the blue links, and the one linked earlier on your talkpage, and read what these policies/guidelines tell you).

As I said, I strongly suspect that you also edit using your IP number (user:86.43.100.175), and using that account you were adding a link to many pages, where the link was not directly related to the subject (but indirectly). Moreover, you were adding the link in sections where they do not belong. Such additions set off many alarms, and result in monitoring of links. Today the linkaddition (see Wikipedia:WikiProject Spam/LinkReports/oneconnect.ie) immediately resulted in a new alert. For more information, see Wikipedia:Spam and Wikipedia:External links.

In short, I would like you to review the following pages:

Also note, that you have been linked by one of our (actually, mine) bots to certain pages (see Wikipedia:WikiProject Spam/UserReports/Joeleire), so these edits will (for now) result in alerts). Please consider to change your edit style, and please, when asked to, discuss before making the same edit again (as most of the policies and guidelines will also suggest). I hope this explains, have a nice day. --Dirk Beetstra T C 16:53, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I gave an example above, the whole section is advertising in tone. Also, the link is in the external link section, words in the text do not need the external link. I have reverted your edit, again. May I suggest you first discuss on the talkpage with other editors before making the edit again. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 08:40, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
