Women’s rights in Saudi Arabia

Hi Johnny, I want to thank you for your wording intro fixing on women’s rights but there are some points I will clarify.

1- there is no sectarian called Wahhabism, it’s a term used by the ottomans during the Saudi-Ottoman war when referring to Mohammed bin Abdulwahhab and their followers, Saudis follow the hanbali sect of Sunni Islam

2- you can’t say that women in Saudi Arabia are dominated by Shia Islam because they are minorities and that the the official law of Saudi Arabia is the Sharia Law of Sunni Islam so this sounds illogical, there are many Sunni and Shia sects that are actively there such as Maliki, Hanafi, Shafi’i, ismaili and Sufi so it’s better to unify all the sects under the term (Islamic Law) only

3- Sahwa is a generic name and it can’t be used when describing some events so the right term are (Islamic Fundamentals) or (Extremist islamists) or (Radical Islamists) or better (Religious Fundamentalists). I also linked (Religious Fundamentalists) into Sahwa to direct link the definition.

4- I found it unnecessary to include (Grand Mosque 1979 Siege) on the intro as there is a source that can indicate to the event.

I want to notify you that I made some minor reverts regarding this topic Aziz bm (talk) 10:14, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wanted to let you know that I noticed you adding the infobox gallery at Jeddah and it’s certainly some good work (the box had just one image for quite a while), keep it up and feel free to drop a line on my talk page if you’d like another hand on some other similar pages.
