I was looking at your user page and saw the panoramas from those surprisingly high mountains in the Basin and Range. What I noticed is how the Range (rock, trees, and even some lakes and snow in the summer) really stood out against the Basin stretching out far below. Ah OK. I've added a lot to Wikimedia, some of which ends up on Wikipedia, but certainly not the majority. Yeah, several of those hikes were over 4,000 feet elevation change (4,000 or more up and of course 4,000+ back down), and one of those (Marys River Peak) was also 18 miles total horizontal distance (9 in, 9 back out).
