DYK for Franz Halder

On 20 October 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Franz Halder, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Franz Halder (pictured), a former chief of staff of Nazi Germany's army, was the only German to be decorated by both Adolf Hitler and an American president? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Franz Halder. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Franz Halder), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Today, I am proud of a great woman on the Main page, Márta Kurtág, finally, who has several things in common with Schumann! - Here's my ideal candidate for arbcom. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:05, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

HI there, thank you for your help on the article, TBH I didn’t realize why those sections had been deleted, thanks for the explanation.

Also, just a fan of archaeology and am trying to contribute in that realm where I can on Wikipedia. I will be way more mindful as to tone, external links, etc in the future.

Collaboration on 1932 German presidential election

Dear K.e.coffman,

I am currently working on the article 1932 German presidential election, an article in which you might have an interest, and I was wondering if you'd like to join me. It's a bit of a mess right now, but I've been cleaning it up, expanding it, and referencing it and I was wondering if you'd like to join me.

Regards,

  • @John M Wolfson: Sorry, while I’m somewhat familiar with the subject, I don’t have much source material on hand. I’d be happy to do a copyedit, if this helps. --K.e.coffman (talk) 02:52, 14 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Thanksgiving! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:26, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Gerda Arendt: thank you--I appreciate it. Hope you had a nice Thanksgivig too. --K.e.coffman (talk) 17:25, 30 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Well, in Germany, Thanksgiving is earlier and not quite as much of a holiday. But I made giving thanks the theme of the year, so find it appropriate to make use of a great tradition. Next year will be around vision ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:31, 30 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
