Notability and
COI

Hey, I thought I'd explain a little about our notability guidelines. To put it bluntly, notability is extremely hard to prove on Wikipedia, as you have to show that you've received coverage in enough reliable sources over a long enough period of time to pass

WP:BAND

. This is often most difficult to pass when someone isn't as mainstream as Lady Gaga or that horrid Miley Cyrus, but the problem is that we still have to have sourcing.

sources (anything from yourself or anyone associated with you) can't show notability either. The reason is that even if you or the blog are telling the truth, we still need a reliable secondary source to back it up. It can be frustrating, to say the least.

In any case, this is why the page was deleted. Hope this explains what happened for you.
