Hey, I went back and re-read the source again, and pulled a direct quotation that may help address your concern. The original text followed the source closely by saying "(who insisted on re-baptising anyone joining their movement)." That appears to have been changed by an intermediate edit to offer an explanation, or to tone down what may have been perceived as a criticism, to "(who based on the need to fully understand the role baptism plays in salvation, required many to be "re-baptized")". I've gone back and pulled a direct quotation from the source "(who "saw themselves as the only true Christians and insisted on reimmersing all who come into their fellowship, even those previously immersed 'for remission of sins' in a Church of Christ")." I think this should address your concern. I'm also hoping that using a direct quotation from the source will make it less likely that someone will modify the text in the future in a way that misrepresents the source.
