Welcome, with a suggestion

Welcome to Wikipedia. Here are suggested readings:

WP:TERTIARY
. The gist of these guidelines is:

  • Wikipedia prefers citations to reviews and books, not primary journal references (tens of thousands appear annually). Citing secondary sources is the encyclopedic style. My guess, Org Lett, just one of many specialized organic journals, publishes 500-1000 article per year. It is impossible for Wikipedia to cite them equitably, so we refrain, but strive to take the extra step of identifying reviews. If you have questions, many editors can offer advice. Happy editing.--Smokefoot (talk) 19:00, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I note you eliminated the folllowing: "PFOs and PFAs." I did not think they were redundant. Was that the right choice? 7&6=thirteen () 14:36, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Belbury. I noticed that you recently removed content from Liver King without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Unclear why you removed specific mentions of steroids from this article: the sources cited seem clear about this. Belbury (talk) 09:58, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Verdigris

I noticed you added "somewhat" to the designation of verdigris as "poisonous". The poisonous status of the substance has fairly baffled myself and other users (though it's easy to find sources that use the label without much in-depth explanation of how exactly it's dangerous -- to the touch? by swallowing? Is there a distinction between being poisonous and toxic? etc.). Do you know of the specifics by any chance? Wolfdog (talk) 16:22, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Preview – Consolidate – Summarize

Hello, and thanks for your contributions. Below are a few editing suggestions to make it easier for you and others to collaborate on the encyclopedia. Please preview, consolidate, and summarize your edits:

  • Try to consolidate your edits, at least at the section level, to avoid cluttering the page's edit history; this makes it easier for your fellow editors to understand your intentions, and makes it easier for those monitoring activity on the article.
    • The show preview button (beside the "publish changes" button) is helpful for this; use it to view your changes incrementally before finally saving the page once you're satisfied with your edits.
  • Please remember to explain each edit with an edit summary (box above the "publish changes" button).

Thanks in advance for considering these suggestions. Eric talk 02:16, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
