Thanks for uploading Image:Activision Blizzard.PNG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

- The only thing removed was a fact in parenthesis that was unsourced. The other revision you undid was a reformat. Mikco (talk) 07:05, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hypocrisy is bliss, I guess. Tell me please... What has been reverted? Oh, that's right... The last revert of my editing was made by you over 50 edits ago. Baseless attacks have no place here. Mikco (talk) 20:08, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, I used the wrong template on you talk page. I'm not the expert templater as you are. I don't spend my time laboring over one-time use templates. But, please don't make vague defamatory statements towards other editors. You are obviously oversensitive to the words Jew or Jewish, but that doesn't give you carte blanche to attack other editors in edit summaries as you did here. Need I remind you that I was the one that removed a number of overuses for those words from the article? If WaPo or Haaretz use "Jewish" in their titles, and countless other source use it the text of the article, then it's justified to make some use of the word in the Wikipedia article. Replaceable fair use Image:Bernie_Madoff.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Bernie_Madoff.png. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before

ambox image replacement
Hi,
May I ask whether there was any discussion regarding the overriding of the image in all the templates you just edited? The new "ambox button" image appears to be lower-quality than the previous one. For this reason I have reverted these changes pending discussion. If you think this is a better default warning icon, or that a new class of ambox is required for the "opinions differ" icon you added, please try proposing it on the main ambox talk page at
- I see that not only have you reverted the template in question to your preferred version, you have also reverted several other template to your preferred version, and gone on to add your changes to several more templates. As you haven't seen fit to raise the issue with the community, I have. I've proposed reverting your changes. Please do not continue to alter more templates from the defaults until such point as you have discussed the issue. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 17:41, 15 December 2008 (UTC)]

Mikco - you'd think with a fraud that people wouldn't have a problem with "Modus operandi" - it is simply Latin for "mode of operation", i.e. describing how the guy did the fraud. But no, it is viewed as offensive, and people would rather have "Fraud" (claiming it is actually MORE neutral) or "Claims of wrong-doing" or some other long-worded drawn-out title. They just can't accept "Modus operandi". The cops do - I don't see why everybody else can't. Anyway, thanks.Betathetapi545 (talk) 16:27, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Mikco, I just got through reversing edits in Bernard Madoff. Why in the world are you vandalising actual quotes??????????? I don't get it. If you've got a problem with the quote, go chase The New York Post, or The New York Times, or The Palm Beach Daily News. Don't bring your personal vendetta (whatever it is) onto Wikipedia. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (talk)
- I really don't know what you're talking about. I don't think I've removed any quotes. Besides, if you have a problem with any edits take it up on the article talk page. Mikco (talk) 18:02, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
not vandalism
This was not vandalism. If you carry on calling good faith edits
]- Sorry about that. It looked like vandalism, on account of the discussion on the talk page of that article regarding categorical arrangement. I understand why it might look that way though. I don't see why my comment could be taken as a personal attack. In all fairness, isn't it a bit odd that you reply to an assumption of a personal attack with a threat? Mikco (talk) 18:30, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Wait-- the article remains the same, so what was the problem with my revert? It was only carrying out the guidelines layed out on the talk page. Mikco (talk) 18:32, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

- I see what you're saying about the image, but I thought an SEC image would be considered public. I'll take your word for it, though, because I don't know if the image is considered public / free. About owning the page, I'm merely attempting to make valid points before other editors carelessly paste snippets into the article. All of the recent edits in question have been and are being discussed on the talk page, but other users are disregarding discussion and publishing inaccuracies and irrelevancies anyways. I'm not doing anything to own the article, I'm just trying to protect its neutrality, accuracy, and reliability (all through discussion). Mikco (talk) 20:55, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for constructive edits to Bernard L. Madoff
Overall, I think your contributions to Madoff have been very useful (maybe some newby mistakes included). I'll suggest at this point to back off and cool down a bit. Administrators have a hard time seeing who is to blame for an incident. It will be better all round if you take a few hours off. If User betathetaetc reverts again, just report him to the

- Thanks, Smallbones. Glad you find my contributions useful (though they are pretty small). Thanks for keeping the article neutral and fair. I guess I'll cool down, but this is just one of those articles that grabs your mind for a bit. And thanks much for the advice and for your help! Mikco (talk) 00:55, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
