Information icon Hello, I'm Binnenstaat. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, White Plum Asanga, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Binnenstaat (talk) 00:19, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. When free, I will add it again with a notable reference Misbah Haider (talk) 01:59, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It reads like a PR-piece, not like encyclopedic information. The reason that the term asangha is used seems to be lost on you.Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 02:37, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Misbah Haider. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Misbah Haider. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Misbah Haider|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 14:45, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Sir, I read your whole review and just wanted to share here that I decided to publish my first biography article on Wikipedia so, found Prof. Sheu got all permissions for the use of any of the resources being used on Wikipedia then wrote the article from a neutral point of view as didn't ever know this person. I also read thoroughly Wikipedia guidelines and tried to prevent any promotional content and just focused on what he has done in the educational sector. Really hard worked for this article sir, please let me know what are your further views on it, and what type type of further edits should I made to get it published.
Really grateful.
Regards, Misbah Haider (talk) 17:18, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Chen-Yu Sheu, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 14:53, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply

Respected Sir, I have followed your guidelines and made the following changes to my article, I've carefully reviewed the Wikipedia guidelines for articles and made several improvements to the biography page. Firstly, I removed any content that didn't adhere to Wikipedia's biography rules. I replaced a restricted image with one from Wikipedia Commons. Additionally, I included high-quality sources detailing where the person studied and conducted his research. I added citations for his journal publications, which contributed to the field of science. I made sure to eliminate any promotional language, as the biography should not read like an advertisement. Specifically, I removed links to pages selling the subject's books, replacing them with direct citations to Google Books where relevant content can be accessed. Finally, I provided links showcasing the subject's contributions to science and cited his membership in the IEEE." Misbah Haider (talk) 09:36, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Prof. Dr. Chen-Yu (Phillip) Sheu
moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to

academic notability
. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 05:46, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot, Sir for seeing my article, I want to ask a question The article includes the person who is a member of IEEE, his academic journals, books, and also the notable references behind his career so, what should be edited?
Regards Misbah Haider (talk) 06:02, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Let's continue the discussion on the
draft's talk page. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 06:11, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply

I did some general clean-up, with intent of making the draft more likely to be accepted. but did not address whether the content establishes notability. Listing and referencing selected publications is OK, but does not contribute to determining notability. As already noted, the backlog of drafts at AfC is not a queue, so any draft might be reviewed in days, weeks, or sadly, months. David notMD (talk) 13:25, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on

section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation and has no credible claim of fair use or permission. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing
.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File permission problem with File:Chen-Yu (Phillip) Sheu.jpeg

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 01:08, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sir, I have removed this image from my article should I now submit my article for review? Misbah Haider (talk) 01:13, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Whether this image file is in the article is irrelevant to if you should submit it for review. -- Whpq (talk) 11:29, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
