Hey, I wanted to drop you a note. Are you going anywhere articlewise with the fanfiction page you are working on? Since you are new, you may not know that wikipedia is

indiscriminate collection of information. If you are working on it for an article, that is fine and if you have questions you can ask here or on my talkpage and I can try to help. Thanks! Syrthiss (talk) 14:11, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply

Problems with upload of File:Lovecraft4.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Lovecraft4.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:05, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings! I see you've created a page titled Arkham Horror: Game Play/Fan Fiction. However, my concern is that it is not an encyclopedia article and should be deleted.

reliable sources
cited in the article that discuss the notability of the fan fiction.

Please reply and provide some context of how the fan fiction has real world, general notability. Otherwise, the article will be nominated for deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 21:46, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also, when uploading files, do not overwrite existing files on the server. This creates problems where articles, which have already linked to the images, suddenly have off-topic images appearing in them. —C.Fred (talk) 21:48, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Arkham Horror: Game Play/Fan Fiction has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Blatant original research. Original editor admits the stories are his creation.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 22:03, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Echoing here the comment I made on my talk page: Whose interpretation are you using? If you're using your own, that's

original research. Wikipedia is not a repository of original research.C.Fred (talk) 22:43, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your image was inserted successfully into

as an illustration of the animal; by overwriting that image, you're introducing an inappropriate image into that article. If the image has an appropriate license, you may upload it to a new title.
