Detailed Information of Island Line Stations

Please start writing about the Exits and Transport Connections of all Island Line stations east of North Point up to Chai Wan. Information about bus routes, minibus routes and exits can be found on the location maps |shown here.

I at the meantime will start adding some new information about Asia-World Expo and Tseung Kwan O South Stations.

Have a nice time,

Editing Progress

Hello,

My condolensces to your brother-in-law. While you were away, I have finished adding the exit and transport information to all stations in the MTR network. Then, the next step is to add a "preceding station, following station "at the bottom of each page. Then, the readers can know which station is next on each line for each station.

Welcome back, kylohk

I guess it's not that space consuming, it's just a bit silly. If it makes you stick around and edit other articles and things I don't mind, just don't be surprised if the template gets deleted someday. Also, maybe its the budding engineer in me; considering we use an approxiamtion of 10 m/s² for gravity (in SI its 9.81....) in skyscraper design, quoting something like "2671.367955 MB" is just weird.--Commander Keane 20:27, 5 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Empty Pages

Greetings, I've noticed that you have been adding what appear to be legitimate articles to Wikipedia. While we are glad to have people submitting new articles, they must have text before you submit them.

Thanks, Damicatz 21:37, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, please. As I pointed out via e-mail, you've been unblocked. However, you simply can't start an article and leave it empty. Please write the contributions offline if you wish to leave a number of articles at once. Thanks. - Lucky 6.9 21:47, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you delete the

It had no content whatsoever, except for the templates. It thus fell under the
Criteria for speedy deletion, point A3. And I see that it had been recreated, still without content, so unless expanded it will be deleted again. Punkmorten 08:24, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply

A short Esperanzial update

As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on

the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened
. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.

As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.

Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

August Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature:
To-Do List
The
Esperanza To-Do List
is a place where you may list any request, big or small, for assistance. If you need help with archiving your usertalk, for example, all you need to do is list it here and somebody will help you out. Likewise, if you need help with some area of editing on Wikipedia, list it here! Again, any matter, trivial or not, can be placed on this page. However, all matters listed on this page must not be of an argumentative nature. You do not need to be a member of Esperanza (or this program) to place or fulfill requests on this page. If you don't have any requests, consider coming by and fulfilling a few! This program has not been very active, but has lots of potential!
What's New?
In order to help proposed programs become specific enough to make into full-fledged programs, the
proposals page
has been created. Proposals that are promising, but need to be organized in more detail are listed here. Please take a look at what is there, and help the proposals turn into programs.
To improve both the layout and text of the
Wikipedia:Esperanza/Front page redesign
to brainstorm good ideas.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
The last AC meeting (full log
)
  1. In order to make sure all users who join Esperanza are welcomed, a list of volunteers who are willing to welcome new Esperanzians is at
    Wikipedia:Esperanza/Members#Esperanza_welcomers
. Please add yourself if you are interested; we want to make sure all new Esperanza members are welcomed!
  2. The
    In development
section of the proposals page has been created.
  3. General Esperanzial Actions
    has been created.
  4. Two small pieces of charter reform will be decided on in a straw poll at Wikipedia talk:Esperanza/Governance. One involves filling the position of any councillors who may leave, the other involves reforming the charter.
  5. Until cooperation with the Kindness Campaign is better defined, it remains as a proposed program.
  6. There is a page for discussing the
    front page redesign

September Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature:
Barnstar Brigade
Here in Wikipedia there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go unappreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go unnoticed. As Esperanzians we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. This is where the Barnstar Brigade comes in. The object of this program is to seek out the people which deserve a Barnstar, and help them feel appreciated. With your help, we can recognize more dedicated editors!
What's New?
September elections are upon us! Anyone wishing to be a part of the Advisory Council may list themselves as a candidate from 18 September until 24 September, with the voting taking place from 25 September to 30 September. Those who wish to help with the election staff should also list themselves!

File permission problem with File:Headertemplate 04.gif

Thanks for uploading File:Headertemplate 04.gif. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. The file File:MTR System Map (in the future).png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned map.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~ Rob13Talk 13:47, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
