Hello, I noticed your comment here and that you are wondering about inserting references in an article. You don't have to do anything special and you could just paste the web address (or book name & author) of your source at the end of the sentence. Someone will come along and apply a particular format to it. (Please see

WP:CITEQR). If you want to do the extra mile, I like to use this tool

to obtain the correct format, just fill in as many fields as you can, press "Get reference wiki text" and then just copy & paste it at the end of the sentence you are citing.
