You're the first normal editor in quite a while on the Bobov pages; so I would like to congratulate you. Issac 16:45, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I left a comment regarding your edit on its talk page. I hope by the time you see it; your edit is still standing. I still think Grand is more correct then Chief but I'll leave it for now, especially if we can pad it with some clarifying words. Issac 23:08, 2 February 2006 (UTC

Shuloim Aleichem;

I see that you are having some difficulties in verifying some Skvere Minhugim. As a Skvere Chusid I can help you clear up some things for you.

By the way, in one of the discussions you wrote the following... (There are actually such examples in Skver that were not mentioned such as the women cracking eggs on their heads for shampoo in preparation for the mikveh) are you so naive to believe this where is your common sense???--Chusid 16:14, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Minhag you are referring to is to read the Megila, the first half (till Vyhei Bachtzi Halaiyluh) two weeks before Purim and the week before Purim the second half. Re: the eggs, how do you knoe it for a fact? is your wife a Skvere? Do you live or lived in Skver? Who told such non-sense stories? And how did you verify if it was true??? If this is or was ever a Minhag it would not be changed, as you know in Skver all minhugim are Minhugai Kodesh and never changed or altered. By the way on of the Rebbes sons is a personal friend with me so it is no problem for me to verify any minhag etc. that needs verification.--Chusid 17:06, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image Tagging Image:Belsky-1-.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Belsky-1-.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{

Wikipedia:Image copyright tags
for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Nomination of Country Yossi for deletion

A discussion has begun about whether the article Country Yossi, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Country Yossi until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. J04n(talk page) 23:59, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. --Nuujinn (talk) 22:56, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Levy Aron

The article

Levy Aron has been proposed for deletion

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PTJoshua (talk) 22:50, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on

section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.sparknotes.com/short-stories/everyday-use/themes.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing
.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 155blue (talk) 01:15, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

First haircut Article (Maliku babies Section)

Hi, could you please provide the source for the statements about Maliku practice you wrote in First haircut#Maliku_babies? Aithus (talk) 05:35, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Aithus, sorry, if I wrote that, it was way too long ago for me to remember.--Ortho (talk) 00:44, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your prompt reply. I was curious about that section because the practice seems Islamic while the region seems to be historically under Hindu and Buddhism influences. Aithus (talk) 00:49, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
