File source problem with File:Yang Zhen Duo.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Yang Zhen Duo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on

Invitation to Meetup/Seattle6, a focus group
Hello. I'm part of a research group at the University of Washington (Seattle campus), and my group is reaching out to Wikipedians in the Puget Sound area. We're hosting a focus group designed to gather information on what Wikipedians would like to know about each other when interacting on Wikipedia. Our end goal is to create an embedded application that helps people quickly know more about others' history and activity on Wikipedia, and we feel our design will be much more useful if it's based on insights of users like you.
I'm hoping that the chance to help out local researchers, to engage in lively face-to-face discussion with other Seattle Wikipedians, and to contribute to Wikipedia in a new way will entice you to join us. The session lasts 2 hours and snacks are provided. Sessions will be held on UW Seattle campus - directions will be sent after registration. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated!
Willing and able to help us out? RSVP here. Want to know more? Visit our user talk page . Please help us contact other local Wikipedians, too! Commprac01 (talk) 00:29, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Greetings!
Greetings Panicpgh! I was just going to speedy delete a new article by User talk:Cleobolus but a sixth sense told me to check him/her out first and I saw that you have previously helped this editor out. Could you go through his/her contributions and try to wikify them - I can't because I don't know anything about the subject, but I'll put an underconstruction tag to try to give you time. Good luck! --Technopat (talk) 22:35, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply. I'm taking your word for it that they are notable 'cos I'm no judge, but if I can give you a hand with anything, let me know. Cheers!--Technopat (talk) 22:47, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Reverts
Sorry about that one, I saw you hide the MA nav template & went ot undo it, but accidental reversed all of you edits, when I saw the diff I took it back your version with the template in place. Again, sorry for any confusion --Natet/c 09:26, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

- Thank you for pointing out that "original research" is not allowed in Wikipedia. However I do have communication from the family itself, official documentation that I can produce. If that is not reliable documentation, I don't know what is. So how do I refer to communications by the family that will not be considered unreliable? Bruno talk
- I am honestly not sure, Wikipedia:No_original_research/noticeboard would be a better place to ask... -- RP459 Talk/Contributions 19:35, 21 May 2010 (UTC)]
- So if you are not sure, why then did you revert my edits? Wouldn't notifying me that this is in doubt and asking the question yourself in the noticeboard have been a more logical course of action?Bruno talk
- I am sure that what you added violates WP:NOR. What I am unsure about is if it is possible to add it to Wikipedia in a fashion that is allowable. My gut tells me from what I do know is that it cannot be added in any fashion, but I pointed you in the direction that I did so that you can get another more informed opinion. -- RP459 Talk/Contributions 21:21, 21 May 2010 (UTC)]

Hi. As you recently commented in the
Pittsburgh event for Wikipedia's tenth anniversary
Hi! Since you have a connection to Pittsburgh, I wanted to invite you to the Wikipedia Tenth Anniversary celebrations we're having in Pittsburgh on Saturday, January 15. During the daytime, we're going to be having a photo contribution drive where anyone can bring in their digital photos or prints and Wikipedians will teach people how to upload them and add them to articles, and maybe introduction to Wikipedia workshops as well. Then in the evening, we'll have fun at the Carson City Saloon. There will be free Wikipedia t-shirts and other goodies, as well. See the Pittsburgh meetup page for more details. I hope to see you there!--ragesoss (talk) 15:55, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
The article 16-form Yang family tai chi chuan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.
For established users such as yourself there is

Dear Panicpgh,
Hope you are doing well. You were so kind to review my previous article on Ma Gui, and I was writing to see if you would be interested in taking a look at the new one I just wrote on one of Ma Gui's students, Liu Wanchuan:

Wow I see what you mean. What we are seeing is a single topic user that probably will not be convinced of the error of his ways. I will do one more revision just to set precedence but then I would just let it be for a couple of days - patience is a virtue. Hopefully he will loose interest. I have left a message on his talk page and if he keeps it up I'll ask an actual Admin to take a look.Peter Rehse (talk) 22:06, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Kashaka may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
