Regarding your request on User talk:Debresser#Userfy request - it's fine, except you didn't need the {{helpme}}, and you should've put it in a == New section == at the end of their page.

If you leave a message on another users talk page, they will automatically be alerted to it, and I'm pretty sure that Debresser (talk · contribs) will respond to your request soon.

The 'helpme' template should only be used here, on your own talk page, when you want to get the attention of any helper - a random person like myself will then respond.

So, in this case, I removed the helpme and added a section heading, with this edit.

• Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR

You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold , but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people. Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes. Play in your user area. For example, create User:Paulwellard/test. Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009. When you're ready, read about Your first article . It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.
