Le Trajet
Does seem to be of some note - I've done a bit of a rescue and added a little from the French article. The book won a notable prize. From the number of ghits for the author, I would wonder how many actually read it... Needs work, but isn't a CSD candidate. Peridon (talk) 23:19, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

I declined the speedy you suggested for this article. To be honest, I don't understand why you thought it lacked context. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 04:37, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
Mothers and Other Liars
Hello. I saw that you created an article for Amy Bourret a few days ago. I was wondering if you would be interested in also writing an article on her book, Mothers and Other Liars? Wikipedia's main page has a section called Did you know, highlighting the WP's newest articles. Check that page out, and if you are interested in creating this article to the guidelines (which are really minimal), it might make a good DYK for May 13th (Mother's Day in the US ). If not, no worries. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 21:28, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
- I had a go at creating the article here, but I haven't finished reading the book, so it might still need some editting. Lithium (talk) 15:37, 3 May 2012 (UTC)]
- Great start! The synopsis definitely makes it seem like an interesting story. When I have some time in the next few days I will help look up real-world info like development, release, reception, etc. The Fox and the Hound (novel) is a great example of what I mean, it's a featured article. But don't worry, even if I add content, it'll still be your article when it gets to DYK. I'll just be happy to see the words "Mothers and Other Liars" appear on the front page. That should definitely be an eye-catcher for Mother's Day. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 23:17, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
- I had a go at creating the article
- Okay, looks like you know how to make an article! No offense intended with the above simplistic phrasing. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 20:07, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- I've moved the article to mainspace and nominated it for DYK at Template:Did you know nominations/Mothers and Other Liars. Feel free to suggest an alternate "hook", or to keep editing. I simply want to make sure that any DYK issues are addressed before May 13, and that we've secured it a spot. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 00:02, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
DYK for Mothers and Other Liars
DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Saber
Hi -- I see you changed "saber fencer" in a number of places. I was wondering why you think that change necessary? I think it was fine as it was, but wanted to check with you as to your thinking before taking any action. You can respond here. Thanks.--Epeefleche (talk) 09:02, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. The article I changed seemed inconsistent - sometimes using "sabreur" sometimes "sabre fencer". Also, I've never really heard the term "sabre fencer" in use. For the same reason, I also changed the spelling of "saber" to "sabre" and chose "sabre" since that's spelling used in the title of the article about it (I know both are fine, but better to be consistent). Lithium (talk) 13:52, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. It was fine as it was. I understand that you personally may not have been familiar with the phrase -- but here are over 60,000 ghits. It is common enough for it to have been an appropriate choice among others, and was the predominant before the changes. Thanks.--Epeefleche (talk) 17:57, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

2011 Echo Klassik Awards
Hi PhoenixBlitzkrieg, Just popping by on a courtesy visit to let you know that I have tagged your recent article "2011 Echo Klassik Awards" as having too short a lead. I thought best to explain my reasoning for such a tag. I find that it didn't inform me as to what the award was for or about, yes I understood once I went down through the article. But, in the introduction I was left asking myself "what is the 2011 Echo Klassik Awards". Anyway, if you get a chance maybe you would consider popping back over and expanding on it a bit, such as adding that it is a music award.
Anyway, just thought best to discuss with you. Many thanks for taking the time and putting in the effort on the article.
Kindest regards and happy wiki-ing, (MrNiceGuy1113 (talk) 15:19, 28 December 2012 (UTC))
- Thanks for the explanation. I hope my improvements are adequate! Lithium (talk) 20:57, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
