Wikipedia library

Hi! I've noticed some of your contributions and think you might be the kind of editor who will benefit from using the

Wikipedia library. My favorite tool there is newspapers.com, which gets you free access to thousands of (mostly US) newspaper archives from the last 150 years or so. Please feel free to check it out. — Jacona (talk) 18:20, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply

Oh wow thanks, that archive sounds very useful indeed!--PiccklePiclePikel (talk) 18:24, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

G. Raj Kumar

Hi I see you’ve deprodded this article. I agree that if the subject was a member of an Indian state legislature he would be notable. What makes you think he was? Mccapra (talk) 20:15, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

He was is the deputy mayor of what would be equivalent to (Metropolitan Municipality) of Hyderabad. PiccklePiclePikel (talk) 21:37, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

He has passed away now. PiccklePiclePikel (talk) 21:41, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Deputy mayor of Hyderabad is not equivalent of being a member of a state legislature so it’s clear to me that he doesn’t pass
WP:NPOL. Mccapra (talk) 04:09, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply

I see, I suppose it doesn't pass the default NPOL criteria. PiccklePiclePikel (talk) 11:00, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What other accounts have you used here?--Bbb23 (talk) 17:49, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

Hi, PiccklePiclePikel,

I noticed that you have stopped editing around the time that other editors started casting aspersions at you in AFD discussions. If you are a new account of a blocked editor, it would be best if you logged into your original account and filed an unblock request, especially if the block was made a long time ago.

But if you are just a very knowledgeable new account, please don't let these comments keep you from participating on Wikipedia. Most new accounts that seem to have a clue about Wikipedia are faced with accusations of sockpuppetry. I know that I was accused of being a sockpuppet when I started editing Wikipedia regularly. It comes with the territory of demonstrating some knowledge about the platform while also being relatively new. I miss hearing your contributions in AFD discussions and I hope you return should you wish to. It can be helpful to take a break (I've taken two long breaks) and coming back renewed and refreshed. I see that you don't have email enabled but you can always drop me a line should you wish to by going to my User pages and clicking on the link on the left. Take care, Liz Read!
