O Damjanichu
Kalapis Zoltán piše o Damjanichu(str. 215):
Srpska istoriografija ne zna sta će sa D.J. jednostavno ga ignoriše. Enciklopedija Stanoja Stanojevića štampana izmedju dva rata ga jednostavno naziva neprijateljem srpskog naroda, i krvopijom, a leksikoni izdati posle drugog svetskog rata daju samo njegove osnovne podatke bez kvalifikacija.
(A szerb történelemtudomány sem tud mit kezdeni Damjanich Jánossal, egyszerűen elhallgatja.
Triput meri, jednom seci. Ti si sek'o, a mi sad merimo. Kratko! Bendeguz 20:55, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

I see you have corrected the "Bosnian" in the Eurovision Song Contest articles going back to 1999. What about prior to then? Do you have any information on when the BCS status quo was formalised? Was it immediately following Dayton or did it take a few years? Cheers.
- It was formalized in the Dayton agreements and it did de fact exist already before. Now, for some years it could be rather difficult to obtain any official data on the language in ESC. For example, the 1994 song was sung by a Bosniak lady and a Serb gent. But with situation in B&H what it then was I doubt they put much thought into political correctness. --Dzordzm 16:40, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Copyright in Serbia
Hi. I have a question about Image:Slovaci u Srbiji.jpg. Why is it in the public domain? Is that licence valid? As far as I understand, in Serbia the laws and other official texts are public domain, but does that extend to any material published by the Serbian Government, including, for example, photos? The image in question comes from this website, which has this copyright notice: "Copyright © 2004 Влада Републике Србије". Is that notice mistaken? Sorry for bothering you. Cheers! — AdiJapan ☎ 15:16, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- The template says "law, decree, regulation or official material". It doesn't say that any material published by a state body is public domain. And if you are right, why does that website have a copyright notice? It wouldn't make sense. I think it is necessary to check exactly what the law says. May I ask you to search in your copyright law and see what it says about materials produced by state employees? I'm afraid you have in Serbia the same situation as we do in Romania: The official legal, administrative, political and judicial texts cannot be protected by copyright, but any other materials (photos, etc.) can. — AdiJapan ☎ 04:40, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Me again. In the meantime I found this article: Serbian copyright law and the full text of the law, in English, here. It appears that the law does not exempt all state-produced materials, but only official texts and materials. Surely the photograph Image:Slovaci u Srbiji.jpg is not an official material, so it is not public domain. — AdiJapan ☎ 04:50, 2 May 2007 (UTC)]

Questions about Serbo-Croatian, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian Wikipedia
Hi, Pokrajac. I saw your name in m:Requests for new languages/Wikipedia Serbo-Croatian. I have a question about Serbo-Croatian, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian Wikipedia. I don't know the reason Serbo-Croatian and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian editions coexist. If only sh-WP existed and bs/hr/sr-WP didn't (or contrarily, only bs/hr/sr-WP did and sh-WP didn't), I didn't have the question. Why do these four Wikipedias coexist? Please explain the reason :) ― 韓斌/Yes0song (談笑 筆跡 다지모) 10:35, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Pokrajac
Hi Pockey,
Well, I see you're familiar with this name! I don't know how to pronounce it, I just fixed the transcription that was already there, "pokrayatz", which looked like a mixture of German and English orthography rather than the IPA. I also left off the accent; since the two versions contradicted each other and the consonants weren't reliable, I thought the accent might be unreliable as well. Please let me know if I messed up. kwami 17:50, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- How can it possibly be [pokra'jaʦ]??? That sounds strange in any language I can think of; ['pokrajaʦ] (to rhyme with "Gotovac") is barely plausible. The only regular pronunciation is [po'kraːjaʦ] (or [pɔ'kraːjaʦ], if one wants to be picky about the semi-open /]
- A jel'? Nisam imao pojma. Duja► 20:42, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Your edits to Novak Djokovic
Please stop reverting his English name back to Serbian. Read the extensive discussions on the talk page of the article, where the outcome was that the article should use the English spelling. You cannot on your own overturn that consensus. --HJensen, talk 09:01, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yes I can, because that is the only right spelling. If you think we should change to Djokovic, than we must change all other Serbian, Croatian, Bosnik, and Polish names. Open new voting for all non-English names if you want to make something. Whitout that this is only double standard. --Pockey (talk) 13:26, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

- I said "no idea"; not "not knowing". And it is ironic that you make an our consensus policy one does not get one's way by just reverting against the consensus over and over. It is stated that one should take it to the talk page. Alto, this user writes "If you think we should change to Djokovic", which shows that s/he has not read the talk page, or even seen the title of the article. That is why I mean that there is no idea about wiki policies (which state one should check the talk page before making controversial edits). When you cite WP:CON to me, is that also uncivil as you implicitly accuse me of not knowing that policy? Ironic, or just confusing?--HJensen, talk 13:24, 4 June 2008 (UTC)]
- I don't think my comment could be characterised as incivil - your tone and attitude were quite aggressive and dismissive, so I selected an aggressive and dismissive metaphor. I don't accept that there is a consensus on Djokovic (not a case of consensus for previous status quo either, just no consensus of any kind at all). As I have repeatedly said elsewhere (not just on this topic either), consensus is not a tool to be gamed and then used to beat opposing editors over the head with. It does not facilitate or foster a collaborative environment to do so. Additionally, consensus is not some final thing which ossifies at a particular point - it continually evolves. And it is not incivil to accuse someone of not understanding the spirit of a policy - saying "You have no idea about wikipedia policies" is, however, grossly incivil. Orderinchaos 15:22, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- "Stuff you" is grossly incivil. I continue to find it ironic that I should be labelled aggressive, when I am trying to maintain an article where a consensus have been reached. The agressor would be someone who accuses somebody of "depressing the Serbian people". I found that exceptionally offensive (and not fostering a collaborate environment), and it led me to my remark about "having no ideas about wikipedia policies". I really mean that it is essential to know that you don't revert again and again just offering accusations as edit summaries. Doing so, even with knowledge about policies, is acting as having no idea about their practial implementation. (And I know consensus can change; see
