Hi @Rahammz: I was wondering why you removed the Jewish identity in the above two articles. The sources refer to them as Jewish. scope_creepTalk 23:29, 22 July 2021 (UTC) @Scope creep: According to Wikipedia, the "Ethnicity, religion, or sexuality should generally not be in the lead unless it is relevant to the subject's notability. Similarly, previous nationalities or the place of birth should not be mentioned in the lead unless relevant to the subject's notability." Anatoly Gurevich and Daniël Goulooze were Communists and Soviet intelligence spies. There ethnicity and religious background is not relevant to the subject's notability.
- Your wrong, because your using MOS to dictate content, instead of looking at the sources, which is shockingly bad. These sources, which comes from books, Jewish newspapers, Jewish web sites and academic sites, Russian and Polish sources, all state or indicate they were Jewish and that was one of their primary driver as a group entity. I will now need to do the work to update these articles. Not even doing the work to check the sources. Shocking. scope_creepTalk 17:23, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
The fact that these articles used Jewish sources and those sources started their article or book with their Jewish background is irrelevant. The article still needs to subscribe to Wikipedia's MOS. "Anatoly Gurevich was a Jewish professional Soviet intelligence officer" is an absurd way to star an article considering the person was a Soviet communist spy and functionary. The ethnicity of those people are already mentioned in the early life section, I don't understand your insisting that it should be stated in the lead section. If you look at the corresponding Russian Wikipedia of Gurevich it is written in the same manner. Rahammz (talk) 17:42, 23 July 2021 (UTC)

Hi thanks for creating Vladimir Potemkin which I’ve just reviewed. Is it a translation of the ru.wiki article? If so I need to add a template to the article talk page. Thanks Mccapra (talk) 18:34, 28 August 2021 (UTC) |
Most of the information is from the ru.wiki but it's not a direct translation with some information being added from different sources and some removed. So I don't think the template is necessary. Thanks. Rahammz (talk) 19:03, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for your note. Copying any amount of material between wikis requires attribution - it doesn’t need to be a complete or even substantial copy, any amount needs the template, so I’ll add it. Happy editing! Mccapra (talk) 11:24, 29 August 2021 (UTC)

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Anarchism
Hi Rahammz,
I saw your work on articles related to anarchism and wanted to say hello, as I work in the topic area too. If you haven't already, you might want to watch our noticeboard for Wikipedia's coverage of anarchism, which is a great place to ask questions, collaborate, discuss style/structure precedent, and stay informed about content related to anarchism. Take a look for yourself!
And if you're looking for other juicy places to edit, consider expanding a stub, adopting a cleanup category, or participating in one of our current formal discussions.
Feel free to say hi on my talk page and let me know if these links were helpful (or at least interesting). Hope to see you around. czar 04:24, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

Central Committee
I really love that I'm not the only one editing the Central Committee articles. Sorry that I reverted you're edits but let me explain. This template {sortname|Nikolai|Kubiak|Nikolay Kubyak}} ensures that the list is ensured after last name. The [[ ]] ensures that the list is sorted by first name.. If you want to change something - I'm guessing you want to change the links - do the following {sortname|first name shown in text|last name shown in text|article name} . This will ensure that the link is correct and the table sorts properly.
I am sorry that I have reverted some of you're edits.
On another note very good that you removed the Osinsky image. But notice that all other individuals that lack pictures uses the template {center|—} in its place.

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Elly Winter, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. FMSky (talk) 04:12, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Spanish Civil War shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. BusterD (talk) 10:11, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
The user Havsjö has already reverted my edits 4 times and he didn't get a warning by you. The disagreement is that they keep removing an important commander (which is even mentioned in other corresponding Wikipedia of the Spanish Civil War). Apart from warning him from the edit war you should warn them for constantly vandalizing the article. Rahammz (talk) 13:44, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
- WP:ONUS is on the inserter to demonstrate why such a figure belongs in the infobox. You must accomplish that on talk, not in live pagespace. Since the figure does not appear and as far as I can see has not ever appeared in the body of the article, it's an uphill push to suggest they must appear in an infobox intended to summarize the article itself. Arguing your point here with an uninvolved administrator isn't improving your position. Make your case on the article's talk page. BusterD (talk) 15:10, 19 August 2022 (UTC)]
My last revert was only a half an hour after your warning on the talkpage, and I only saw the warning a few hours later so I didn't meant to revert it again after the first warning. And I doubt the user Havsjö saw the talk page warning either considering he reverted my edits for the 4th time after the warning. Anyways I made my case on the talkpage but haven't got an answer.
Sorry for the constant reverts on the live spagespace. Rahammz (talk) 15:48, 19 August 2022 (UTC)

Why did you insert unsourced information? The source does not cite this person as editor-in-chief. So I will revert your edit. Secondly, did you have to disorganize the infobox when you added something to it? Egeymi (talk) 14:35, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
What order in the infobox? I just added another editor parameter. Because there was only one editor-in-chief and another 3 man editorial team. If the parameters were distributed or whatever you can change it. I don't see what's wrong with how it currently is
I just added a editor section, if the order was changed it was probably done automatically. Hopefully you check the sources before reverting my edits next time. It's time consuming finding new sources Rahammz (talk) 17:18, 18 December 2022 (UTC)

- If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
- Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page, including checking for copyright violations using general notability guideline.
- Please review some of our flowcharts (1, 2) to help ensure you don't forget any steps.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. If you can read any languages other than English, please add yourself to the list of new page reviewers with language proficiencies. – Joe (talk) 09:19, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
Autopatrolled granted
Hi Rahammz, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.
Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.
Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! – Joe (talk) 09:31, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
New Pages Patrol newsletter April 2024
Hello Rahammz,
Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.
Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.
Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.
It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!
2023 Awards
Onel5969 won the 2023 cup with 17,761 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 50/day. There was one Platinum Award (10,000+ reviews), 2 Gold Awards (5000+ reviews), 6 Silver (2000+), 8 Bronze (1000+), 30 Iron (360+) and 70 more for the 100+ barnstar. Hey man im josh led on redirect reviews by clearing 36,175 of them. For the full details, see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone for their efforts in reviewing!
WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.
Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great. Additionally, if there are Wikiprojects that you are active on, then you can add a post there asking participants to join NPP. Please be careful not to double invite folks that have already been invited.
Reviewing tip: Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages within their most familiar subjects can use the regularly updated NPP Browser tool.
Reminders:
- You can access live chat with patrollers on the New Pages Patrol Discord.
- Consider adding the project discussion page to your watchlist.
- To opt out of future mailings, please remove yourself here.
