Blogspot linkage

Thanks for you contributions. I had to remove a few blogspot links from three articles that you edited today;

core policies
. For what it's worth, none of those articles lack for external links, so it is not a big loss. However, since these appear to be reprints of published works, an exception could conceivably be made for these links if

  1. the original publications are considered a
    reliable source
    ,
  2. the subject matter is considered helpful by the editors of those articles,
  3. "sigh.ko.blah.grr"'s reprints are with permission (not violating copyright),
  4. "sigh.ko.blah.grr" is the best or only online reprint of these materials,
  5. Rodger Garrett is confirmed to be a reliable editors, and the true editor of "sigh.ko.blah.grr". (I have not heard of this blog or Mr. Garrett, so please forgive me if these are well-known in their field.)

If these links pass the above criteria, my suggestion would be to ask on the Talk pages for these articles if these external links would be relevant and helpful. / edg 11:07, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Rajah524 … I recently encountered the article about

I am considering tagging

Deletion policy
… I do not have time to examine the article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.

I have created this initial entry on your Talk page because you are either the original author of the article, or else a recent contributor to it; I will leave more detailed information regarding my specific concerns about the article on its Discussion page … please respond either there or on this Talk page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation.

Be sure to read

I do not mean to imply that your contribution is unappreciated … perhaps you should read

To better understand why I have used this template, please read Flag templates for deletion warnings … I apologize if some of the expressed possible concerns may not be appropriate in this case.

I have placed this flag on your article about SIQR in relation to its academic nature and unsuitability for wikipedia at this moment. You may work to improve the article by including peer reviewed sources which explicitly describe this novel therapy instead of simply supporting its mechanism.

Welcome!

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Self-talk Identification, Questioning & Revision (SIQR) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Self-talk Identification, Questioning & Revision (SIQR) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. DGG ( talk ) 00:39, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
