Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:17, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

AFD

Hello,

Your account is only an hour old and your only act is to nominate an article for deletion and to do so incorrectly including not signing your nomination statement. This is very unusual for a new editor to do as their first edits and you haven't used this account on any other Wikimedia projects either. What were the other accounts you used to edit this project? Why did you decide to nominate this article for deletion right after you registed this account? How did you know how to do this? Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:19, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The reason for me to nominate that article for AFD is because I've looked into the list of sources that Wikipedia considers reliable, and I quickly noticed that none of the cited sources in that article were in the list. Therefore, none of the cited sources were reliable, and as far as I have known about Wikipedia, since before even creating this account, was that reliable sourcing were a necessity for any information on Wikipedia articles and a lack of that is a strong ground for even deletion of any published article. So I immediately did what I felt was necessary for me to do as a Wikipedia editor, I have seen pages with AFD nominations before and I learned how to make these nominations myself and nominated Alisha Newton article. Thank You. Raqib Sheikh (talk) 11:37, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's interesting to note, User:Liz, that since your comment, new account User:Izzac Leiberheir has been created, and their only ever contribution to AFD is also for the same article! One of the only two delete votes. (the other delete vote was by User:Ashik Rahik, who came out of a 6-month retirement to vote. There must be something very compelling about this "not yet notable" actor! Nfitz (talk) 21:08, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
