Edit war

If you keep reintroducing that content at SJW article, you'll eventually get a block.

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Social justice warrior shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

August 2022

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. You should know better by now but also you should realize that your point would be better made without attacking other editors, including me. Keep it up and my next comment will be at ANI where I will be requesting a block of your account for personal attacks and obvious trolling. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:16, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I will second that. If you cannot carry on a civil conversation with others without resorting to insults, you will be sanctioned. Primefac (talk) 17:21, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Where is the insult? My opponent signs with Praxidice, defined as "goddess of judicial punishment and the exactor of vengeance", so I jokingly responded to this provocative name by exchanging it for Lyssa, defined as "spirit of mad rage, frenzy, and rabies in animals...closely related to the Maniae, the spirits of madness and insanity." Should I really be lectured and threatened because I tried to bring some humor into the discussion? Be an adult.Retal (talk) 17:36, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, equating a user to "mad rage, frenzy and rabies" and "insanity" is very mature, so funny. You know what you're doing and I suggest you stop. Ironic you're whining about being lectured when you yourself made a comment without any context and expected users to sus it out without any details and then further insulted editors because you have an issue with pronouns. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:45, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. But then be so decent as to restore my initial remark regarding "Wikipedia English Language Policy".Retal (talk) 17:55, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I did not hat it, @Primefac did. And as you failed to actually elaborate on what the issue is, I doubt it'll be restored. Also you can't seriously ask other people to be "decent" and do you favors when you've still left personal attacks up and are continuing to engage in combative behavior. But either way, you'll have to ask the admin who hatted it. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:58, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am not going to un-hat the conversation because it is not going to go anywhere. The current consensus on Wikipedia is to use the pronouns preferred by the subject (if known), and trying to get a single article changed by means of a post that I can only quantify as falling somewhere between
concern-trolling is not going to change things, nor will it win you any debates. Primefac (talk) 18:08, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply
]
Primefac: You seem to like insulting people by throwing ludicrous terminology at their heads, but I understand the controversial issue of pronouns has been "pacified" by allowing jargon to take the place of understandable English. What a pity.Retal (talk) 20:24, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
