To be fair, there would probably have been no block without the edit warring. The repeated unsourced addition of "alleged" and the addition of "is known for being heavily trolled" in Wikipedia's voice to a biography led to the noticeboard reports and this decision. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:34, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That alone is entirely sufficient grounds to block you. There is absolutely nothing that prevents a software engineer (or anyone else) becoming a journalist. We aren't the slightest bit interested in your personal opinion of whether he is one or not, and addition of the word 'alleged' was entirely improper. We don't need references to state that your addition of the word 'alleged' to the biography was a violation of our policies. Policies which permit immediate removal of content violating
