Managing a conflict of interest
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:37, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for your concern DoubleGrazing, I have no connections to or conflict of interest with the Century Initiative. ScienceMan123 (talk) 12:26, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
August 2022
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Century Initiative. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Stop it, both of you. You need to discuss this on the talkpage. If you can't stop, then I will request that the page be protected. - Thank you, the other user appears intent on whitewashing the article by removing relevant published and properly cited content. I will request assistance on the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard and submit the article for dispute resolution. ScienceMan123 (talk) 23:08, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Chinese government interference in Canada, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a
I noticed that you undid a few changes I made whilst cleaning up a disruptive edit earlier, so I wanted to explain myself instead of just directly reverting you.
- Uyghur Human Rights Project is not a correct reference; that is an American organization. As referenced in the article, "Uyghur Rights Advocacy Project" is the correct Canadian organization, which unfortunately does not have a wiki article of its own to link to.
- I dated the {{More citations needed section}} tag to March because that's when the section was created, along with the HTML comment saying more citations were needed. I just thought a proper template was needed there, dated to when the comment was added, instead of just the comment.
