Thank you very much for the .png translation of the Itanium chart. I struggled with this and failed miserably. I thought to eventually greate an SVG chart, but I have not yet found the right tools. -Arch dude 23:51, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited MPEG transport stream, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages DTS and AC3. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Fuel dispenser global tag
In this edit you moved the "not a worldwide POV" global tag to the whole article. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Fuel_dispenser&oldid=716167038
Could you please explain why you did that? As it stands, it isn't helpful and I wouldn't know what to do to solve the "issue".
FYI, I created a lot of the content on that page. Of course I haven't been everywhere in the world, but did deal with Asia, Africa, Europe, Russia, South America, and had a lot of knowledge of North America because oil companies and standards originated from there. I think that's the closest you'll get to a global perspective on such a niche topic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aaron Lawrence (talk • contribs) 22:16, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- I'm glad you've been places, but the point of the tag is to point out that the differences between different locales aren't covered in the article. The petrol pump article covers the US and UK adequately enough, but you'd never have any idea how it might be different in other places. I don't have the experience to go into detail, if you do then you should expand the article. SilverbackNet talk 08:57, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
- There aren't any significant differences, other than those already mentioned in the article (such as number of fuel grades, H2 etc). It's all been globally standardised except for inevitable differences like currency, metric vs imperial, and the relative penetrations of different fuels. Honestly, looking at a fuel pump in any of those places, it's impossible to tell which country you're in except by the language on the labels (if any). Even the brands of the dispensers are mostly global now. Aaron Lawrence (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:43, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
- So would it be OK to remove the tag? Or do you have some other specific ideas? Currently the notes on variations are spread around the sections, should it have a "regional variations" section to consolidate? Aaron Lawrence (talk) 01:05, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Chocbox
Hello SilverbackNet. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Chocbox, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: article is about the product, not the company and thus not eligible for A7. Also claims coverage by reliable sources. Thank you. SoWhy 07:16, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
