Hey, I've been meaning to send you a message for a while. Hope things are going well for you.

I want to talk about you reverting my changes for the Hicham Lasri page. I saw your note that you left me, something about poor writing. It made me laugh and also I admired the fact that you took the time to write it. Here's the thing, I need you to undo that, if it's still possible. I am Hicham's assistant and run everything by him before publishing, naturally. Also, I know the writing is not classic wikipedia-page like, that it has jokes and innuendos, but that's there on purpose. It's about writing in the right tone for the right topic. If I was writing for a more traditional artist, i would be more sobre and neutral in my writing, and vice versa.Nonetheless, the piece was still hundred % accurate and well sourced, informing the reader not only in a factual way but also giving an idea about the artist and his universe. So please, if you can undo the revert, that kinda would save me some time. I still need to work on the French and Arabic versions too.

Hi. You're right that the article is about the "Hafsid dynasty/Caliphate" only, but it's also true, that article is about former north african state of 1229–1574 and if it was occupied during this period of time without being interrupted, it belongs there as well, the foreign flags should be also displayed there. The gallery is also about flag of Tunisia of this period displayed on portolans or mentioned in sources, it's not at our discretion to decide which flags deserve to be eliminated. The same way is applied in other articles, for example Kingdom of Naples (look at the flags in the article), which belonged to foreign powers throughout its history and de facto did not have its own flag and symbolism, there was Anjou/French, Aragonese, Spanish, Habsburg and Napoleonic. A same way I want to apply to the Hafsids. Also the title "Flags of the Hafsids on portolans" is inaccurate, because it's not clear which flags of portolans belongs to the dynasty or the country or Hafsid ruler etc. It is inaccurate to claim that these three flags belonged to the Hafsids, they could have been battle standards for example and therefore should the title remain non-specific. -- Dragovit 8:42, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

I see and I read it, and my opinion is that it's enough that description of the flag mentioned that it is "higly speculative", "douptful" etc., nowhere stated that it is real or official flag and yet it can be in the article displayed. The Catalan Atlas, although not a credible source, is also a portolan map, this problem can be solved by a suitable description, but if you think it's a better solution not to show it in the article, so okay, I don't mind. -- Dragovit 9:36, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
