Screenshots for The Decalogue

Hi Tomiwoj

Great work on the Decalogue pages!

I've taken some screenshots from the 10 disc Polish edition of The Decalogue and was wondering if you would like to use them on the wiki page as a replacement for those screenshots already uploaded. The Polish edition of The Decalogue looks wonderful, as you can see if you go here:

Thanks for the suggestion. I think that the pictures you took are very good and agree with replacement of some of them on the Decalogue pages, especially the title ones. However, they are only upto Decalogue 5 - can you please make screenshots of the remaining five ones ?

Yes, I'll do the remaining episodes as soon as I can. Incidentally, I wasn't quite sure how the uploading of images worked on wiki, so I went and put in an upload request on the Artur_Barcis image I took. Should I retract that request and let you replace it?

It's no problem if you upload the files, but I can do it myself, too. I have actually downloaded all your images I will use from the flickr.com website and will use them there. The screenshots look really nice, much better than the ones I did, so if you can make even more screenshots from your DVD's and put them on the flickr website, I will replace them as well !

Hi Tomiwoj

Okay, that's all the episodes done. Two screenshots and one title shot for each episode, plus the Artur Barcis image for the main page, plus a titles screenshot that you can use in place of the other image on the main page (if you want to). Dekalog's 5 and 6 were in a different ratio—hence the black borders—so I cropped them to the correct ratio without loss (you'll need to grab the Dekalog 5 images again). If you look at the photos on my Flickr account you'll see a little cc in the description of some of the photos; those can be used for the cast of characters screenshots (I'm sure you knew which photos to use anyway)

Just to confirm, you are saving the full resolution 768 x 576 screenshots off of Flickr, yes?

Decalogue pictures copyright and size

Hi Flarpper,

Yes, I got complaints from the administrator for many of the pictures I uploaded. I will have to find the way to copyright them acc. to Wikipedia standards. About the pictures sizes - I downloaded them from flickr in 500x375, but then I found out, that there are also bigger sizes there - 768 x 576, exactly as you wrote above. I will re-download them and use the full resolution instead. Hope that the administrators will accept the pictures later on !

Pat Green albums

There is a manual of style for albums. Tracks should be listed like so:

  1. "Title of Song" (FULL NAME of first writer, FULL NAME of second writer) — time

That's the title of the song in quotes, the FULL NAME of each writer (but only the first time it occurs).

Also, I redirected the lesser Pat Green albums as I could not find any

First, Greetings! Is Tomiwoj your first name? Mine is

BLPs at least 50% of the time. I am trying to learn how to create album pages. If you can assist in teaching me? I can maybe help you- I have uploaded about 1,500 photos of musicians alone (I got sick of finding none on so many articles) and can teach how to find and upload them to Wikimedia Commons or else I think I can help you find photos by request. Aside from learning how to at least start album pages, I am hoping you might help with the discography for Rory Gallagher, who has his own Rory Gallagher discography, but only some of his studio and a couple of live albums are complete, not to mention many other things! The compilation articles and collaborations with people like Muddy Waters, Jack Bruce (of Cream, Lonnie Donegan and other notable musicians would help not just his discography, but that for others. The metro maps are placed in the Wikimedia commons project, not the English Wikipedia project (see the URL difference). On Wikipedia commons, there already is a https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Roslagsbanan_maps Roslagsbanan map category.
